We usually just get each other cards. He usually gets me a potted plant (usually tulips because they are just coming into season) and we sometimes go out to dinner...otherwise, we don't really get into Valentine's day.

Jeez I never answered my own question I was just so excited I got the poll working lol. FH and I always get a card for each other and usually do dinner and a movie.

I don't know yet. He always does something different, we'll probably at least go to dinner. I have always received flowers and a card, too.

We used to share gifts, but now we're sticking to cards. It means a lot to us, and can say so much. We also try to spend some time alone, whether at home or out watching the stars or something. Anything as long as it's just about us, kwim?

Last year my DH (then FH) drove for over an hour to bring me my roses and card. this year I will probably get roses and be taken out to eat. I will buy him a card and give him a massage.

Nowt!!! lol i have given up on valentines day since one year i found myself rummaging through the outside bin to find a reciept after i had made a lovely dinner and Joe was an ar*e!!! lol so he has to try and do things to make it up to me every year! lol
