I think you should try it with another of the daisy ribbon...see what it looks like. I really like the way the daisy ribbon looks around the bottom. You can experiment and see what you think. Ger!
We must have been posting at the same time. Yeah, I like the daisy ribbon on the top and the bottom. Looks wonderful!! Ger

I'd personally only do the daisy ribbon at the bottom. With it at the top it looks choppy, imo.

I was thinking the same thing myself. Just do the bottom only. I think it would look much better.

Also with the top ribbon it looks too over done. I really like it with the ribbon at the bottom. Have you ever thought about doing beads around the base of the candle?? You could so something shiny or something like those flat colored marble type things that match your colors for the wedding. That's always something too, but just a suggestion!

Thanks guys for your input! I really appreciate the suggestions, I am going to leave it alone for a little bit and come back to it later and maybe I'll have another view on it :)

Nice work, I agree that ribbon only on the bottoms looks the best. You could try all three with just the pink ribbon on the bottoms, I love the way the pink ribbon stands out against the white candles.

I have an idea. What about using thinner ribbons on both? Maybe like half as thick as it is now. I think that the bottom daisy ribbon is making it look a little too heavy. But I love how your name looks with the rings!
And I agree with Ladymelissa, I love the way the pink ribbon looks against the white candle!

Where did you find blank candles like those and that silver stand? I looked at some places and the sizes were all wrong for a unity candle.

I found it all at Hobby Lobby :) for very cheap, each of the smaller candles were under a dollar, and the bigger candle was just over a dollar I believe, the silver stand though was about 4 bucks :)
oh and by the way, I ended up leaving the bottom part of my candle the same, and only making the top daisy ribbon half as wide.
