In the mail yesterday I recieved a package from one of my mom's friends from out of town. On it said "OPEN BEFORE CHRISTMAS". So I did, I'm not gonna complain I love presents...
Inside it were 2 books. On of them is "Wonderful Weddings for cost conscious couples" from TLC's show "For better or for Worse".
It's a really awesome little book, it has EVERYTHING in it that you would ever want to know about planning a wedding on a budget. It even explains traditions and ways of getting around things for cheap.
Here's the Contents/ Chapters:
1. Getting Started: budgeting to prioritizing
2. Creative License: Personalizing
3. Shopping Smarts: what you need to know before hitting the stores
4. Attire: Doesn't need to cost a fortune
5. The Ceremony
6. The Reception: includes all info you might need (including all there is to know about cakes and their designs)
7. The perfect Ending: How to wrap up the final details.
8. a)Workbook: Keeping track of it all including your budget
b) Themes and Ideas
9. Projects/DIY: Money saving creative ideas.
It's filled with pictures too and what not. Plus it gives you all the deffinitions you might wanna know (ie. your dress), and the roels of the bridal party, past and current traditions and traditions of other cultures. All the way through it also gives you little tips and do's and don't's. I'm really impressed with this!!!
