New To Board....Getting Married In 9 Days!!!

Hi girls! So is this a fun website/board? I am crossing over from *******, ugh! So how does this website work, pretty much the same? I am work and am usually bored out of my mind so I'm just looking to chat! =)

Same here, Amber. Welcome to our boards! I havent been to *******.com but we are all here for each other for venting, questions, whatever else. Everyone here is awesome and so helpful! So, only 9 days, huh? You must be sooo excited!

I never used ******* myself. I like the website which is very helpful but their boards are awful. So are you getting excitied about the weddin gin a few days? Tell us what all you have planned out.

Yes I agree, their message boards are awful! I am excited that there are other wedding boards, like this one! Thank you for the welcome. =) Okay, so my wedding is now in 8 days hehe...and we are getting married at The Gardens Wedding Chapel in Oklahoma City, OK, and having our reception there also.

I have 6 bridesmaids, and he has 6 groomsmen, 2 ushers, a flower girl and ring bearer. We are having a pianist play our ceremony but for our unity candle song we are playing "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascall Flatts. We are having a DJ do our reception and I am soooooo excited about that as well! Got everything pretty much done, except for a few minor details. Our colors are red, yellow & orange. Our flowers are pansies, in honor of my late Granny, Pansy, in our 3 colors...I have a cascading bouquet and my MOH (sister) is carrying a mini-version of my bouquet....and the bridesmaids will carry just small bouquet with ribbons tied around the stems...and the girls are wearing white long sleeved sweaters, each has a different neckline, and they each are choosing their own style of a black skirt. (cheaper and easy on the girls, some are average size, some short, tall, plus size, etc.)...and my dress is off the shoulder with a cathedral train...I have pics at home...how do I load them up to show you all? Anyway...

On our wedding night we are staying at a B & B in this Victorian Room.


And for our honeymoon we are going to Vegas for 5 nights and staying at the Luxor.

We had a trip planned for Cozumel but Wilma changed that for us! We are excited...

Okay did I miss anything? LOL...is this an active board? I get really bored throughout the days! =)

Welcome Amber and congrats! It sounds like you have everything all planned and I am sure it will be wonderful. Only 7 days now ... I know you must be excited! :D

I like the boards here, this one is one of my two favs and I have been on many ... most don't let vendors participate so I like it that this one does, and the people here are friendly and helpful too.

Congrats again, good luck with everything and Have a great time! I can't wait to see pictures :wink:
