You know, this used to be a big deal in the school that I used to work in. We had a moment of silence every year in rememberance. But, after 9/11, people seemed to have forgotten this one. THank you, Heather, for posting this and letting us remember those who lost their lives without even knowing they were fighting.

As Steve and I were eating breakfast this morning he mentioned it. This day always seems to get forgotten so easily.

We all try to stay so positive but I look at all the disaster and I'm scared.
He leaves right after Christmas this year!

I remembered Pearl Harbor day yesterday. It made me want to watch the movie. I love that movie.

My partner at work is a HUGE history buff, so we watched a ll the documentaries on the day yesterday. They showed an anniversary ceremony on tv and they interviewed people who were their that day. It is amazing the things they were able to live though. My thanks and prayers go out to our all troops, past and present.
