A bride on this site did really cute Thank You cards that looked like her and her groom. Who did those? Does anyone remember?

I'd love to do something a little silly for our wedding thank you's.

I believe that was Jenn! as in Jenn060306. She is the graphic designer and I remember how cute they were, so I'm pretty sure she was the one! :)

This vendor is on some Canadian boards & does these type of invites .... maybe it would help to look at their site?

We did photo TYs, I wouldn't really classify them as silly though.

This is the pic we used and it was the entire front of the card and the cards were blank inside, to write a personal thank you.

We have recently found out that a number of recipients of this card still have them on display.

Shawna - I think you're right - it was Jenn. I'll have to look at her journal.

Melissa - We're putting a picture inside of our Thank You's. I've also thought of doing the picture cards and writing the thank you on the back.

Maybe I don't mean silly - just a little different....happy....

Why do you think that they are silly? I think they look wonderful.

My first line was, I wouldn't really classify them as silly.

I love them and just thought I'd share, if it is totally off topic then the mods can feel free to delete the post. Sorry for any confusion.

Ok...so now I've got Thank You's on my brain (as if there's not enough stuff here at work for me to think about).

Would anyone here think it odd if we do those picture cards, you can get them a WalMart, Target, etc. Like long postcards with our picture on the front, with "Thank You" Joe and Stacey 2/17/2007 and then write a personal thank you on the back?

That is what we did w our save the dates!!! I think they are cute, especially if you aren't going the fancy smancy route. If you are going 'fun', they just may work.

We got ours from Vista Print (vistaprint.com) and they are actually a traditional folding card and were a really good price they also arrived very quickly even with standard shipping. They are large and beautiful, they were an 8.5 X 11 piece of card stock (glossy on the outside, matte inside) folded in half, so quite a bit larger than your average note card.

Also, our photog checked the color and clarity of the print job and was thoroughly impressed. He said everything was dead on. I have also heard many photogs speak poorly of Walmart's photo print quality.

Stacey,
I think that would depend on the wedding itself. Like how elegant or relaxed it is....

I personally love getting those cards in the mail around christmas. I never thought about for wedding thank yous though...Pretty neat idea!!

Costco is another route you might take for those photo cards. If there is one near you that is.

I agree, our photog speaks very highly of Costco's printing, they are much better than Walmart.

I just really wanted a folded card and our photog only knew where to get the single page photo sheets (I am pretty sure it would have been Costco).
