Just wondering is it normal to have that many I dont knows 23 days before your wedding??? If so I think its kinda rude, dont you have to give your reception hall a final count soon? I hope you get more responses soon :)

I'm not sure if its really normal or not. Most of those people are from Justin's side of the family whom I didn't want to invite in the first place because he hasn't seen some of them in 5 years. They insisted on it and it makes me really angry. I have to give them a final count 10 days out. Our cut off date to send in the rsvps was Monday. Hopefully a few more will come in today and then I'll start making calls Friday. It is very frustrating and yes I think it is rude especially since we sent all pre-stamped envelopes.

Thanks. If I have a lot of people telling me the week before I might have to ask them not to come. I know it's rude, but I have to make sure all of my guests who actually bothered to respond get plenty of food.

That is what I would do, if they don't like it, then they should have rsvp's sooners. I can say it's a good idea to plan a bit bigger than the rsvp list. We gave the caterers a head count of 80, and about 65 showed up. It wasn't big, but it was perfect!! Anyway, that gave plenty of food, and it was actually nearly gone!!!!
