Andy just called me, he noticed his trunk was open while he was driving to work and he went to close it and realized that his $300.00 remote control truck was missing along with his marine knife and all his CDs that were out in the open. I hate living here, I am home alone everynight and this is the second car in our lot in a month that got broken into! I am so mad. I am making the complex put security locks on my door first thing tomorrow morning. Jeesh that sucks that was his present to himself last year with his vacation money:(, two years ago someone stole my Xmas present from right in front of my door. Thanks for the vent, I feel so bad:(

Aww, Jeni, that really stinks! I am so sorry for you that you have to live in a place where that is a reality! I hope that the complex security comes right in to add the lock for you, and that nothing else happens to you or Andy. The only good thing to remember is that it's only stuff, luckily, Andy wasn't there!

Things like that have happened to my brother and most times it's been someone who knows him. Most times they knkow the person they rip off. Sounds like they will stick to cars though. Take care Hun!!

Maybe it's time to invest in a car alarm. I think I have an idea of the area you live in. It's sad but it happens all to often my FSIL last year had all of her children's x-mas presents stolen from Upstate NY. she had to stay over night as one of her sons needed to stay overnight for additional testing. I am so sorry that you have to live like this.
