Do you think you will have a white Christmas this year?

Oh yes!! With the amount of snow we've had we are definately having a white christmas.

I voted anything could happen, but probably not. It's only snowed here a few times in my life, but 2 Christmases ago we had a white Christmas. It was the neatest thing ever!

Our area is about a 50/50 chance. It's cold enough, but we don't always get enough snow to cover the ground.

Although its possible its very unlikely - i can only ever remember a couple more likely than snow though is to have it white from frost - thats if the rain doesnt dominate as usual! x

Looks like it's going to happen. We had our first snowfall yesterday.

It's rare not to have snow at Christmas but I do remember having rain (on top of a base of snow) some years.

Usually we have a white Christmas....but I do remember a year or two when it wasn't.

I think it is probable here. This morning i woke up to 4 inches of snow outside! :whoohoo: So maybe we'll get some more before Christmas!

Its possible. I've had a white christmas a few times (maybe 5-8) in my 20 years. We usually get a lot of snow in the late december - middle feb so its very possible but I'm not holding my breath. Its a toss up as to whether or not we'll have one.

Every couple years we end up with one. But this year the weather is so out of wack and warmer then usually so I really doubt I'll wake up to a white christmas this time.

Hard to say here. the past few years we haven't had one. It usually ends up snowing the day after. I really do hope we have one this year. I love them!!

We will definetly have a white christmas can't remember one year that we haven't had one. Even if the snow that stayed was on Dec 24 th.

I really hope so! That is the one day that I HAVE to have snow....
Last year we got a huge snowstorm in early December. By Christmas Day it was raining and the snow was almost gone. Talk about a disappointment!

I don't know.. it's a 60/40 chance, I would say. We usually will have some kind of snowfall before Christmas, but it's not always on the ground on Christmas day. Though, it's always cold enough.

Its possible!! although it has happened a couple of times over the last few years, we tend to get the snow in Janury/february! lol

I voted anything's possible. :) We generally only get snowfall in the lowlands once a year if at all, and then it only lasts for a day. But it started snowing on the Sunday after Thanksgiving and kept on going for another 4 or 5 days. There was still a little of it left a couple days ago. So who knows? It's obviously going to be a strange year for weather here.

We usually have a white Christmas, although we just had our first snowfall yesterday and haven't seen anything since...We usually have a white Halloween and Thanksgiving up here as well. Something funky is going on!

We have yet to have a snowfall here and according to the news there is a zero chance! :(
Like come on I hate snow and I only want it this 1 single day of the year and NOTHING!!!!!!!! We have yet to get anything and the earliest we could recieve anything is January at some point. Although it makes life easier then shoveling. I didn't even have a jacket on yesterday when I went out, just a thick sweatshirt. Are you sure it's December?

It's looking pretty bleak for a white Christmas here. :(
It's in the 50's for most of the week, not even sure at this point if it's even gonna get cold!

Same here. :( I just checked the forecast and it will be in the mid forties through Christmas.

We've been in the upper 50s the last week or 2. It definatly does not feel like Decemeber. When I watched the news last night they were calling for it to get a little colder. The extended forcast said a mix of snow and freezing rain christmas eve night. So if it stays that we, we'll have a slippery Christmas. Would much rather have snow or warm weather. None of that inbetween stuff.

It was pretty funny on Sunday. We had Christmas with Justin's grandmother and it looked more like we were celebrating the 4th of July than Christmas. Everyone had on short sleeves and Justin's mom was even in capris, a sleeveless shirt and sandals.

Well today, It's pouring rain! It look's like it's going to be a greenish brownish yellowish christmas. Been cold enough to take the green out of the grass. It looks really depressing here.

I think it's supposed to rain on Christmas Eve here! The temp was in the 50s today. It was a little chilly I guess. It wasn't cold enough to wear a jacket or even long sleeves though.

I'm checking our local weather right now. Today the high is going to be 64. Right now it is 43. Tommorow for Christmas Eve the high is said to be 52 with a 90% percent chance of rain. On Christmas the high is said to be 60, but sunny. Right now they are saying for next Saturday (my wedding) for it to be 65/49 with a 10% chance of rain. That would be fine for me.

With Texas weather, there aint no telling what might happen, but chances are the only way we would have had a white Christmas here is if the 75 lb "puppy" happened to find the new package of toliet paper.
