Well, Josh is in the miliary, and has to wear his B.D.U.'s everyday. He wont wear it out of work, and I doubt that he would ever let me wear them either!!!!!!!:icon_barbar:

Well I guess some families are just "like that". Not my cup of tea. I'll just stick to playing GI Lindsey at Home or at work with my kids lol.

Military uniforms and such would be one thing, but the above is not the case at all and there is just no way I would be caught dead in a camo wedding dress.

Look at this poor kid he doesn't look happy at all and the man is ripping at his neck. Poor little duffer.
I wouldn't do this for my wedding. But to each there own. I do think that it looks pretty good for what the theme was though.

I would never do anything like this at my wedding. But I guess it's like they say, to each his own.
Gotta give them credit for originality though right??

Not me personally but if it was i think this dress that Kacie posted a good few months ago would be a better choice of dress for me! lol

I'm about the countriest on here and even I wouldn't do it....least not for a wedding....a camo theme for a birthday party or something would be fun though!
but for what it was it wasn't THAT bad....the bride is pretty (not that I could say that for the groom....too much hair....looks liked she married on of the men from ZZ Top!)

Steve grew up with the nick name camo boy. Always had something camo on him. But even he said that is a little bit too much.

my brother loves camo and I sent these pics to him a few weeks ago after my dad emailed them to me with the subject "Liz here are some wedding ideas" lol and he loved it! I don't think he would actually do something like this...but he is kinda goofy and he probably would try to! however, I would hope his girlfriend would put her foot down. but like you all have said, to each their own!

My FH keeps telling me that he's changing the tux vests to Mossy Oak - but I know he's kidding - if he wants to live through the ceremony, he'd better be kidding.
Even he wouldn't wear his hunting garb to the wedding. Good heaven's, he might smell like my purfume or something, instead of dead leaves (he won't hug me with his huntin' clothes on) and he'd never be able to wear them in the woods again!!!

lol Stacey!!
Matt and I were discussing this and came to this conclusion: Either they got engaged while hunting or hunting is just a huge part of their lives and they love it. It's got nothing to do with being tacky, it's got nothing to do with being country, it's just got something to do with hunting being important and special to them! It's no different then anyone having a themed wedding like a fairy tale or red and white, or black and gold, etc. These guys just really wanted to celebrate what they love and who they love. I think it's kinda cool actually, I mean maybe they did get engaged on the big buck hunt of 2001. Lol. I think it's neat.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I too thought that while this is nothing I would have done that it must have meant a great deal to them and was special in some way.

Hmmmm, there was a poll awhile back about what is your definition of a red neck and I would have to say that this is mine. Too each his own, but not for me JMO by the way what are those metal looking things in her flowers?
