Homemade cookies and treats!
I make cookies every year for Mark and my grandparents! This year i will be making them for our family friends as well because we are a little tight on money this year.

For me it is a tie between Homemade cookies and special store bought ones.

I love homemade chocolate chip and these 'tea cakes' (http://forums.onewed.com/showthread.php?t=5269&highlight=tea+cakes) my MIL used to make (which I make now), and iced sugar cookies. I also love these white chocolate covered short bread cookies that are always out after Thanksgiving.

My sister works for Sysco Food Service and gets this awesome Red Velvet cake for Christmas :hungry:

Fudge (although I don't know how to make it), if I can find it; it is one of my favs. Chocolate anything, I love choc. cake with choc. frosting, but I'll take that to pretty much any dinner party.

I love cookies, but only if they are straight out of the oven and still hot and gooey. So I keep some cookie dough in the fridge and just make them fresh when I want them or make them just before I serve them.

I love apple pie if it is done just right, with a doughy, crumbly topping. French silk pie is also high on my list.

[Now what starts with the letter C?
Cookie starts with C
Let's think of other things
That starts with C
Oh, who cares about the other things?]

C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
Oh, cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C

C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
Oh, cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C

[Hey you know what?
A round cookie with one bite out of it
Looks like a C
A round donut with one bite out of it
Also looks like a C
But it is not as good as a cookie
Oh and the moon sometimes looks like a C
But you can't eat that, so ... ]

C is for cookie, that's good enough for me, yeah!
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
Oh, cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C, yeah!
Cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C, oh boy!
Cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C!

For Thanksgiving time, my favorite is anything pumpkin--pumpkin pie, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin cake, pumpkin ice cream. But for Christmas time, its more the homemade cookies my mom makes.

I always bake oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. I also like to use butterscotch chips, but I'm the only one that likes them. :)

Sweet Potato Balls. I saw them on Paula Deen's TV show and ever since I made them they're my favorite holiday food. You mash up the sweet potatoes with orange juice, brown sugar, and a litle bit of orange zest. Then you take a marshmallow and create a ball around it with the sweet potato mixture. Then you mix up shredded coconut, cinnamon, and sugar and cover the sweet potato ball in that. Finally you bake em for a tiny bit so they're warm and ahh sooo good!

I must say my all time favorite treat during christmas is fudge!

I helped my mom make fudge only once. It was a recipe that in the end, didn't harden. So they were still gooey. I love fudge but we don't make it.

I am all about the cookies!!! Homemade of course. My mom use to have to hide them and only bring out a few at a time, or I would have had them all gone in a few days!

Our favorite holiday treat for christmas is chocolate and peanut butter fudge. Along with homemade chocolate caramel turtles, peanut butters balls, coconut pecan balls, chocolate covered cherries, and all the other homemade candy I try to make. But only at christmas time since it is so expensive to make.

Homemade cookies for sure. Although my mom used to make this hard candy that was soooo good. I need to find out how to make it myself I think.
