I just returned home from our "Buffalo Girls Turkey Weekend". Basically all the girls in my family and friends all go to buffalo this weekend every year and buy our turkey's from Wegmans (VERY CHEAP) and start our Christmas shopping. So While I'm down there I make sure I check in on Joanne's because I'm a crafty fiend!
This year in particular I spend a significant amount of time lookign at the wedding stuff. Some of you may have already done all of this but I know some of you haven't. They have DIY veil kits for $19 is the msot expensive. And the same for tiara's. Or for those who just wanna get it doen with and buy it they have that too for the same price. I thought this was great. It's a little too early for me to buy all fo this with so much happening ebfore the wedding but for any of you who wanna get this done and are a little stumped (and live in the US or are traveling down) check it out.
Cake fondont can get pretty pricey if you plan to make the cake yourself (that's the ready to go sheets of icing). Joanne's has it for 5lbs at $12.99! Just awesome.
So any of you DIYers who need a little inspiration or just wanna save a little dough check it out.

We used to have one around here... but sadly they closed. We do have a Michaels and a Hobby Lobby though!

I also managed to get ahold of these little kits for kids. They have all that you need to make a key chain, picture frame, little change wallet etc. There's no glue required and it's somethign that they can work on and play with at the reception along with some other stuff. The little kits though were $.50 each. Really if you have the time one day to roam do it, you'll be suprised what you'll find.
