I would have to say home made gifts. I love the gifts that my father and step-mother make for me. It means more to me that they put the time and effort into making me a gift.

Generally, gift cards. My family has a hard time buying for me, because my taste in everything is very ecelctic and very different from everyone else. I would say my taste matches my brothers the best. So people usually buy me stuff and I don't like it so I have to return it, so I would rather just get gift cards or something so I can go out and get what I like.

I have to admit I prefer store bough over homemade gifts. I like the thought put into finding me the perfect gift. And just knowing they took the time to look for something special for me.

I dont really mind - i like gifts bought for me but i like ones made cos they are a bit more special. but if someone is gonna go to all that effort for something i dont liek then i suppose a gift card would b better! Oh Shite as long as its a gift then i dont really care lol xxx

I prefer gifts that are from the heart. Whether they're homemade or store bought, I'm thrilled with the thought. Even gift cards are appreciated, becuase they show that the person getting it for me is aware of the stroes that I would shop in, if not exactly what Iwould want.

I just love homemade gifts. And I look forward to see what the kids make me every year they are the best I think. Also my parents also make me something for the house every year out of wood and I truley enjoy that more than anything they would buy me for any amount of $ from the store. To me it just makes the gift that much more special.

I clicked not sure just because i love all gifts whether made or bought, as long as they were got with me in mind! ive told FH he could get me a mars bar as long as he thought id like it and got it with me in mind!! A gifts a gift and i appreciate them all!!

This will sound super superficial but it really depends from who the gift is. If its my family who knows me well or my best friend, I love homemade because they always keep me in mind. But for weddign gifts for example, I say SHOW ME THE MONEY! or stick to my registry because my dad's side of the family is known for shopping at the dollar den and NOT because thats all they can afford..Just cheap..terrrible maybe but true.

I love home made ..... but no one has ever made or bought the kind of home made gift that I have always wanted. I know this would take a looooooooooooooong time to make or it would cost alot of $$$$$$ to buy but I have always wanted a home made quilt.

I am fairly easy to buy for really I love sweaters, turtle necks, levis, paint brushes and paints. DH can't go wrong if he buys me jewellery ... I just don't change it all that often so there is no point to buying me cosmetic jewellery.

If my kids would just give me some of their precious teenager time (without having a long face to go with it), that would be the greatest gift of all.

I love them all. My mom tends to make us something as she does not have alot of money. But what she makes is always awsome. I always love what she makes. Last year she took a beautiful pie plate ( ceremic ) with a top to it and made a big candle in it and added some greenery and put mine and Nicholas' names on it. For the wedding she got a round mirro that was rimmed with white old looking wood. She etched our names in 2 big hearts and etched 3 smaller hearts around them. ( for the kids, she knew we were trying for one more ) she said she left them blank so we could get the kids names put in there if we want to.

As for any store bought gifts it is usualy soemthing I need or wanted any way. So I love it just the same. If is has a unicorn onit I love it any way.

I love gift certificates because I can get what I really want or need. I also like store-bought gifts, especially when its something that I need.
