I think the worst part of the holiday season is worrying about money. I never have enough to make me completely happy. But who does? lol

I agree with you 100% you never have enough, I wonder if millionaires say the same thing?

I would have to say a toss up between worrying about money and being with family. I always have to juggle and try to make sure that we spend time with everyone. It is such a pain.

The dumb *** drivers and all the traffic they create.

I voted for wanting everything to be perfect and in my book that also means money. But I have started thinking lately that if I can just have my children around me and all of us be happy to be together then I will have a wonderful holiday season. I tend to worry about everything being perfect way to much and am going to try to stop this.

Got to be money. alot of my family are 'well off' and I always feel I have to get them decent gifts.

For me, it's definitely worrying about money. Buying gifts for a million and a half people (exagerrated of course!Lol) makes me worry. Especially since I have to mail most of my gifts to other states... as if buying the gifts doesn't cost enough, right?! lol... though, i have in the past shopped online and sent directly, which only helps a little, cause I think I spend more online than I would in the stores. Oh, well!

I don't really get too stressed about anything. I guess mostly it's shopping for the gifts, I can be so indecisive and then I worry that they won't like it or don't need it!
I also totally agree with all the irritating drivers and increased traffic, that can really get on my nerves.

it would have to be if they will like the gift. I also worry about the $ but it always turn out to be great in the end and thankfully we have always had a christmas something always happens and we come up with the money. Thanks to Santa HEHE

Well this year it's defiantely the wedding I'm stressing out about!!! In other years I usually don't get stressed out. The only thing that may stress me out in the future is trying to see both sides of the family.

Wanting everything to be perfect .... I figure this encompasses everything
I want to do away with the nightmare of spending time with family
I don't want the guilties if we can't be in 20 places at one time
I don't want to worry about money
I want my house to be perfect
I want the food to be delicious
I want to make my children's favourite cookies
I want to pick out the perfect gifts
I want everyone to be happy
I want to have the time to do it all
I want people to be as nice during the rest of the year as they appear to be during the holidays
I want to finish all my orders early so that I have some time to enjoy the holidays
Lastly, I want to be 7 years old again so all I need do is worry about whether I have been good or not!

Trying to be with both families.
We go to see my grandma with my parents and sister on Christmas Eve, then off to FIL's. Santa comes for the kids and everyone from FH's family who is in town is there.
Last year we were apart for Christmas morning (both families get together to open gifts) then we went together to my aunts then back to his family then back to my parents to open gifts with them. It made for such a long day!
This year we are doing the same for Christmas eve but starting much earlier. Christmas morning will be spent with his family and the rest of Christmas day with mine. We're hosting this year.

I think for me it is mostly my family and wanting everything to be perfect, or rather wanting everyone to be happy.

This year I'm pretty worried about finishing up all my shopping. Between work, school (which thankfully will be done in another few weeks), wedding planning, family, and friends I feel like I hardly have any time to get my shopping done.
Thank god for online shopping.

Worried about the money thing so much I had a panic attack the other day. It will all be fine, just always tight around this time.

I don't get stressed over Christmas...it's coming regardless of what I do, buy or prepare for and I'm not going to ruin the joy of the holiday stressing over it.:winktongue:
As for the drivers and the SHOPPERS....they get on my nerves too....I wasn't even Christmas shopping last night and some HEIFER almost ran me down to get past me at Wal-Mart to get to the toy section (I was on my way to the feminine products....HELLO PREGNANT HERE!):)
I don't make eye contact with them and I don't BUDGE...if they're going to be rude and run me down they better pack a lunch.

How would the cow know that you are preggo? Are you showing already or just wearing a sign that says "BABY ON BOARD"? :)
LOL What a Jerry Springer show that would make - Walmart cat fight! A bold, tall no-nonsense preggo squares off with a pushy bargain hunting, heifer!

I get panic attacks when I am out shopping and there are a lot of people around. I am not a big shopping person to begin with. So to know I HAVE to get stuff and then go into a mad house....it just does me in. I try to go at times when stores aren't as busy, late afternoon during the week, during lunch or dinner. Stuff like that.

No I'm not showing...I didn't expect her to know I was just saying that I was on the way to the feminine products aisle not the toy aisle and I was in no way a threat to her seizing the last Cabbage Patch Baby!:)
As for the cat fight in Wal-Mart...been there done that...January of '05, the ex should have told his skank 'ho not to mess with me...restraining order, court appearance, DISMISSED!

I usually dont get stressed out during the holidays because everything is so happy around here. There have been years where things have been very stressful but that was with surgeries and people being in the hospital for chirstmas.

I will call you in about 9 months...I have been instructed by my DH that if the skank 'ho that plaqued his life rears her ugly head I MUST behave. I can do that...my SIL will stomp a mud hole in her, she's not preggy anymore LMAO!
