View Full Version : DIY invitation question
i'm purchasing my invitations but i want to mount it on bright white card stock (looks a lot better that way). what do you use for putting the invitation on cardstock? should i be ordering the card stock to be cut the exact size of the invitation so it would be flush? sorrry, i don't have much "crafts" experience at all.

I would say that it depends on the image you are using.
We cut our card stock so that it would be flush. We used a glue stick to attach the velum to the card stock.

For assembling my invitations, we used a tape gun that has a special thin double sided tape. (Scroll down on this page and you'll see what I mean: http://www.mountaincow.com/shop.stationery.envelopments.accessories.html)
I hope that helps. :)

We're using cardstock aswell. We're going to take the blank cardstock to staples to have it copied. I just don't wanna take any chances. The other option for us was to find someone with a really ncie photocopier. My aunt is a teacher at a visual and performing arts school here in Toronto. They have al that high tech stuff.
Whatever you do, make sure you test it first. So buy extras!!!
