When do you usually put your seat belt on?

I usually don't put it on until right before I pull onto a major street. I'm not very good about it. I know better too, and I'm going to get myself hurt or killed some day. :bbredface:

I put it on right after I start the engine, before I go anywhere. I'll even put it on if I am just changing parking spaces or moving my car from parking on the street to the driveway. It's force of habit, I guess.

I put my seat belt on as soon as the engine is started! I have been in two accidents when I wasn't wearing my seat belt and I was very lucky I wasn't killed in the first. (I would have went through the windsheild if it hadn't been for the dash!) So yeah, I don't go anywhere without it!!! It takes two seconds to click it and saves lives, why not put it on right away?

Right after i shut the door my seatbelts on, just habit but im glad of it!! Joes a pain for it, he puts his seatbelt on straight after we see a copper etc!!

Usually right when I sit down in the seat. On a rare occasion, I don't wear a seat belt...like if I'm just driving across the street or something.

I usually sit down, turn the car on, then put m seatbelt on. The put the car in gear and head out to where I'm going. I don't ever ever drive anywhere without my seatbelt... whether driving or a passenger. And, I refuse to let any passenger in my car go without a seatbelt. It's just unsafe.

I dont wear one - unless we pass a patrol car! I think if id learnt to drive when they were law maybe id have got into the habit but I hate them and have my reasons for not doing so! xxx

Most of the time I put it on right when I sit down. Sometimes I simultaneously start the car and put my seat belt on. I never go without it and will not allow anyone in my car without wearing one.

I normally start the car first, expecially in the winter, to get a jump on warming it up...lol. I will nut put my vehicle in gear unless everyone has their seatbelt on. Steve frustrates me because he normally doesn't put his on until he is pulling up to the stop sign at the end of the street.

I put mine on then start my car. It is not a law her ein NH for every one over 18 to wear their seat belt. My husband doesn't unless we are going on a trip and it is needed. I tend not to when I am a passenger for some reason. I just dont think about it I guess. As long as my kids an dI are buckled up then I dont force any one else to do so as it is not the law here in the state.

typically I for some reason have gotten into the habbit of putting it on after I put it into gear, I'm really sure why lol.

I used to never really think too much about seatbelts, and only wore them every once in a while, but then a little over 3 years ago, one of my friends died, and could have lived if she had been wearing a seatbelt.

I normally put it on as soon as I get in the car. And I always wear it. A girl I went to high school with died in an accident cause she didn't wear hers. Also my uncle was almost killed in an accident, but the seatbelt helped save his life. So I wear it without fail.

lets see put dd in carseat then get in buckle up and the light heat radio and then we are off.

Howerver when i was pg i could not get our old card seatbelt arround me and it took almost 3 month after my dd was born to get it to fit. We bot pulled over twices in a month for me not having one on and finaly i told the officer if he what to try and get it on fine i would let him.
