Are you planning to hit the stores the day after Thanksgiving?

I don't know yet. I'll have to see what is in the sales papers. I did last year. 5 AM at Wal-Mart!

Absolutely not! I can't stand crowded stores, rude people and overpriced items under the veil of a "SALE"!
I get lots of gift certificates and if someone wants a specific gift then I go get it or order it online....

I did the black Friday thing once (in Philly) when I was visiting my bro for the american thanksgiving. All I have to say is that you guys are nuts!
Me? I wouldn't ever do it again ... but then again, I don't do boxing day either and I avoid malls at Christmas time.

NO NO NO!!!
I will admit that one year my sis and I got up early and hit the malls on "Black Friday" We got a lot done by noon just as the malls got really busy. This year will be the first day after EVER that I am not working. I used to be in retail and I always wondered why the heck people would go shopping that early. Not me, not this year!

One year, we were silly enough to go shopping the day after Thanksgiving, and it was a complete madhouse!! I'll never do that again! I will just stay home and relax, wait for the wekend to go shopping.

That's me ... I am not about to get up early to deal with all that craziness. No 'deal' is worth that to me.
I also used to work in retail and I always hated 'Black Friday' It is so funny to me that ppl will get up at 5am and wait outside these stores, then trample all over each other for stuff.
I will be at home warm in my bed ;)

I've done it before but I may be working that day since I'm looking for another part time job to help pay for things. So I wouldn't be shopping but may be working that day.

I have yet to do this. It is a mad house. Usually I find someone else who is willing to battle the crowds and give them my $ and ask if they will pick it up for me LOL.... I don't wanna be trampled.

For my family it is an annual tradition and we enjoy the heck out of it. but unfortunatly this year I will be unable to be part of it. I might however be there at walmart, but working instead. Oh well maybe next year.

I used to work in retail too and always hated the day. The first year that I got out off retail I was one of those crazy shoppers!!!! I love it!

Nope! I have worked in retail before and I have seen the **** that goes on during these after Thanksgiving sales, and to me, it just isn't worth the headache.

I know this isen't after Thanksgiving, but on the news this morning they were talking about the new Playstation 3. It is coming out on Friday at Best Buy and last night there were already people at a Houston area Best Buy camping out in the parking lot waiting to buy it. That's too crazy for me!

Nope. Because the Canadian Thanksgiving is in October there isn't a big rush the day after. But i do know some people who will go down to Buffalo or Detroit for the shopping.
I couldn't imagine doing that. I get a little freaked as it is when there are too many people arround. I hate to do any shopping past the 15th of the month because it makes me a little too nervous.

I haven't decided if we are going shopping the day after yet. We have in the past and got some really good deals, but we are going to Vegas this weekend for a cousins wedding so it depends if we have money left :)
