I voted in the poll, but I will tell here that I love #1! It is so joyful and conveys such love and intimacy. #2 seriously looks dead, the bride is aloof and staring off into space.
BriansBride07
02-27-2007, 10:24 AM
I just love #1 it shows the love in the bride and the groom more than #2 does. JMO though. The reason I don't like #2 is b/c the bride looks disinterested.

When does the voting end??

Oh I forgot to post my shoes, these are really comfortable the other shoes that I really liked had a comfort level of 0. They hurt within 2 minutes of putting them on. These I can wear all night671

I love your shoes! they look like they will be really comfortable. I did the same thing you did, I went for comfort. I would've liked a higher heel, but I would've been hurting all day, and that is not worth it to me!

Congrats on all your bargains!Thank you so much, I have been told that I sometimes come across too harsh or that my opinion is taken the wrong way and I know it myself sometimes that maybe someone did not deserve how I treated them and I will always apologize if I feel I am in the wrong, but not in this case. When it comes to something I bought and people are rude about it I will get every pennies worth of my stress by voicing my opinion and making them know that they won't talk to me like that agian. I definetly got my point across loud and clear in the end :chair: maybe next time she will get lucky and the PMS will of gone away :)

Ok so why do I keep doing business at Ebay??? I am glutton for punishment thats why. I still have not received my cake topper I won 2/27, it is now 3/8. He emailed me on 3/4 to say he was sorry he never shipped it due to weather (remind me to use that excuse when I dont want to go to work, come on now I live in NY don't tell me about bad weather) and he would be shipping it that day, well I figured he would be nice because he took so long to actually ship it that he might use UPS or something quicker. NOPE. So here I am once again stewing over a purchase from Ebay. Its odd every other purchase except the last two were ok, these ones are absolutely horrible!!!!!!
BriansBride07
03-08-2007, 07:41 PM

I hope you get your topper soon.

Did he have good rep. When you first placed the bid???
I hope you get your topper soon.yep his was 100%, I feel bad he had a snow storm, but so did we and I still did my daily routines. I hate excuses especially bad ones, and now he hasn't emailed me back when I asked him if he really even shipped it. The thing cost me $50.00 I want it in my hands soon.

Wow, that's sad I mean if he has 100% rep. and he is still coming up with BS excuses. I don't blame you for $50 I would want it in my hands also. I guess some people over react to a couple inches of snow. I hear you I go about my daily routines also in a snow storm. It must be the northerner in us. LOL

Well now its 3/10 still no wedding cake topper, it is funny he said he tried to ship it UPS, but that they were very behind. HMMMMMM yeah I dont think so. Seriously I could of driven their by now. He is only 2 states away. 12 days since I won it and my aggravation is starting to get the best of me. It better get here today or I am getting a refund. I have to bring the topper to the cake ladies house this week so we can see if the cake can hold a 2 pound topper, I may have to change cakes :(

Yes I am a complete moron. The shoes that I got from ebay that I was so ticked off about because they were dirty actually were NOT dirty. After I opened the shoes I was so disgusted with them I threw them in the closet, well this morning I took them out for the first time and was looking at them and saw a little corner of the bottom of the shoes lifted, so I realized it was a clear sticker!!!!! The shoes had protective clear stickers on the bottoms of the shoes that were dirty, so when I peeled them off both shoes I realized that the shoes are brand spankin new not dirty at all. I felt like such an idiot, I emailed the seller from ebay and apologized and I removed my negative rating that I gave her. UGHHHHHH I cant beleive I didn't notice the sticker!!!
Now as far as the cake topper, the guy emailed me yesterday to say he was in the hospital and they had a snow storm and that he did ship it and it is in PA right now so I paid for it 2/27 it is now 3/12 he never actually shipped it until 3/7 which I think is pretty crappy, but what am I going to do? I am just crossing my fingers it makes it here in one piece. lol
SaralovesMike
03-11-2007, 02:19 PM
Oh no!! Hey, at least you apologized. I guess that's why they call us "Bridezilla's" huh??
Hopefully you get your cake topper soon! *crossing fingers*

There is absolutely nothing wrong with telling people how you feel! At least they know that you are going to be straight forward and tell it like it is.
I wish more people were like that!

I am glad the shoes weren't dirty! And at least you apologized. I am a little curious as to how that much dirt (enough to notice and complain about) got on the stickers.
Good luck with the cake topper, in any event you could always give him negative feedback with a note saying it was very, very late getting there.

I feel kinda bad for the cake topper guy, he said he was in the hospital and the weather was bad he never even mailed them til the 7th, I kinda believe him, but I kinda dont. I just hope it comes in one peice lol.

She is going to do my cake Ivory and pink and as a bonus I decided to get a grooms cakes that is going to be chocolate/chocolate with chocolate roses for only $6.00 so my cake with his cake are total $54.00!!!!!!

I took some Tussenex last night and tonight so I am very groggy, I have no voice at all, but my headache is finally going away along with the stress that went with the headache and I actually slept like a baby last night unlike the 3:45am wake up the other day. I hate it when bear gets sick though because he is so fat and he gets little booger bubbles all over himself :(, he looks pretty pathetic as I am sure I do right now too lol

at least your headache has gone away and that is a blessing. i had one for over a month i couldnt' seem to get rid of. i guess it was allergies and my bp being so high. finally under control now. i hate when the animals are sick too. almost losing my babycakes last week was so hard on me and DD.

aww thank you that is so sweet of you to say. :) Airborne is a fuzzy drink that is supposed to boost your immune system and get rid of sickness when you have it. It tastes like OJ and does work really well. Many girls on here have told me about it. Hopefully what your doctor gives you works just as well!

Feel better soon, and the kitties too!
I took Airborne before I got pregnant. It's little orange tablets you drop into water and they dissolve (like alkaseltzers) and you drink it. They don't taste bad and I think they really work!
They were developed by and elementary school teacher to ward off sickness...basically they are huge amounts of vitamin C and other good vitamins to boost your immune system!

Do you know any of her interests?? Does she have a planner or anything..Maybe a covered planner or note book with her monogram in it along with some stationary?? Maybe some sort of knick knack of something she likes... I'm not sure..if I knew maybe more about her I could give you some more ideas...

That is such a great story and it's neat how they had that on the local news!! I would love to adopt a child (when mine are out of the house) or have one or two foster children...I always feel so for those kids. It's wonderful that those children have two loving parents that have wanted children for soooo long!!
