Happy Veteran's Day to everyone (especially people in the armed forces)!

We're having a surprise welcome home party for a friend of ours tonight (we didn't realize it was Veteran's Day when we scheduled it, it just happened to be when he came home). So we'll definitely be celebrating it!

I was in the Navy for a very brief time

My dad was in the Army from since before I was born until I was 8. He served in the Gulf War 6 weeks after my sister was born and I was 3, and he returned 3 weeks before my sisters 1st birthday. My mom was only 21 at the time too!

Basically I'm proud of my Daddy!
His birthday is November 10th, so it is always right before Veterans day.. :)
