wedding search

I am going to get married in Atlanta but I'm residing in LA. As recommended by my friends I can search in some wedding websites and filter for prices within my budget, and so far I went the website weddinglenox and weddingchannel and found some photographers.

Just wondering who may suggest the procedure you find photographers? How do you look at their ratings and if they're trustworthed?

I went by word of mouth and the quality of pictures that I had seen when I chose my photographer. Ask around its best I think to go with someone you can interview in person rather than looking at there work on the internet and emailing them ?'s best of luck to you. I am in South Atlanta, I know alot of photographers ... what part of town are you looking at having the wedding?

Here is the PPA's (Professional Photographers Association) recommendations for finding a photographer (http://www.ppa.com/i4a/pages/index.cfm?pageid=129).

Since you are planning out of state, you might want to look into hiring a wedding planner to help you find local vendors.
