Ok, so I have another one. The man who is performing the music at the wedding has been really busy lately, and hasn't been able to email me the lyrics to the songs to I cam print them for our guests.

Do any of you know of a good website I can use?

What are the songs he is doing?

Might be easier for me to find the lyrics by title rather than trying to find a Christian lyrics site.

Try googling the names of the songs with the artist's name, many times you will find a site that includes the lyrics.

I'm working on doing that right now. The prob is that most of the sites just direct you to other sites, and then the song isn't in the list.

Still looking........................................... .........

There are a lot of sites out there that have lyrics. You can try to google "Christian Lyrics" and see what you come up with or perhaps even wedding music lyrics.

Is this the right song?

How Beautiful
by Twila Paris
album:
How Beautiful the hands that served
The Wine and the Bread and the sons of the earth
How beautiful the feet that walked
The long dusty roads and the hill to the cross
How Beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful is the body of Christ

How Beautiful the heart that bled
That took all my sin and bore it instead
How beautiful the tender eyes
That choose to forgive and never despise
How beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful is the body of Christ

And as He lay down His life
We offer this sacrifice
That we will live just as He died
Willing to pay the price
Willing to pay the price

How Beautiful the radiant bride
Who waits for her Groom with His light in her eyes
How Beautiful when humble hearts give
The fruit of pure lives so that others may live
How beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful is the body of Christ

How beautiful the feet that bring
The sound of good news and the love of the King
How Beautiful the hands that serve
The wine and the bread and the sons of the Earth
How Beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful is the body of Christ

I Am the Bread of Life
Words and Music by S. Suzanne Toolan

Song Lyrics

I am the bread of life
He who comes to Me shall not hunger
He who believes in Me shall not thirst
No one can come to Me
Unless the Father draw him

And I will raise him up
And I will raise him up
And I will raise him up on the last day

The bread that I will give
Is My flesh for the life of the world
And he who eats of this bread
He shall live for ever
He shall live for ever

Unless you eat
Of the flesh of the Son of Man
And drink of His blood
And drink of His blood
You shall not have life within you

I am the resurrection
I am the life
He who believes in Me
Even if he die
He shall live for ever

Yes, Lord, we believe
That You are the Christ
The Son of God
Who has come
Into the world

Normally all you have to do is google the song title and you can come up with lots of sites that will list song lyrics

***Elizabeth***
We can add How beautiful to songs I've sang at weddings. I forgot about that one!

Jesus, Joy of our Desiring--J.S.Bach, I didn't know this song had lyrics, but here is some stuff that came up.

Jesus, Joy of Our Desiring
Hymn Number 644

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Jesus, joy of our desiring,
holy wisdom, love most bright;
drawn by thee, our souls aspiring
soar to uncreated light.
Word of God, our flesh that fashioned,
with the fire of life impassioned,
striving still to truth unknown,
soaring, dying round thy throne.

2. Through the way where hope is guiding,
hark, what peaceful music rings;
where the flock, in thee confiding,
drink of joy from deathless springs.
Theirs is beauty's fairest pleasure;
theirs is wisdom's holiest treasure.
Thou dost ever lead thine own
in the love of joys unknown.

08. Jesu' Joy Of Man's Desiring

Christmas
by Rebecca St. James

Lyrics:
Jesu' joy of man's desiring
Thou whose love shines down like a guiding light
Drawn to thee with souls aspiring
Through our faith we reach celestial height

Son of God we pray we may reach thee
May we live in peace we beseech thee

Open doors of truth unknown
As thy love comes down from the heavenly throne
Teach us from they heavenly throne

Open doors of truth unknown
As they love comes down from the heavenly throne

By J.S. Bach / English Text by Bernard Gasso / Arrangement by Byron Hagan, Tedd T. & Rebecca St. James / Copyright © 1997 Up In The Mix Music/Bibbitsong Music (BMI)/Sci-Phi Music Publishing (SESAC). All rights on behalf of Up In The Mix Music administered by EMI Christian Music Publishing.

Behind the Song:

I didn't get so lucky with the others, but I'll keep trying.

I just found the same thing. I am going to have to call him and find out if that was supposed to be instrumental only.

Thank you so much Melissa. You have been a great help.

Thanks Melissa. He said he was working on it when I called. I guess I should have called him first, huh?
