Females have it way worse. Our roommate is a hound dog. We have lived here almost 2 years and I've counted 5 different women he's been with in our house. (One reason why I really can't wait until we have our own place!) Nobody thinks anything of it. If we had a female roommate and she had been with 5 guys in 2 years she would be called a slut.

Not at all society makes it okay for men to sleep with however many women they want. But if its a woman than we are judge and called every name in the book.

I feel that it is wrong that if a women sleeps around alot she is called a whore but if a man does the same thing he is applauded for it. Never did understand the meaning behind this whole theory but I don't think that the perception will ever go away. It's sad. In my book they should be treated the same.

I have to disagree, I think that society is much more accepting of women who choose to have many partners. In the last 15-20 years women are able to enjoy as much sexual freedom as men. She may be looked on harshly by older people who still hold on to antiquated views.

I think there is a great amount of equality in this department, there are some people out there that outwardly express the opinion that promiscuity is equally deplorable, but then you later find out they are either doing it in secret or worse, with underage children.

I think in general women get judged more for this kind of thing than men do.

I agree, men can date as many women as they want, but let a woman date more than one man at a time and they are called whores. At least this is my opinion of smaller towns thoughts. This happened to me about 10 years ago. After my first divorce I dated more than one man at a time and the hospital I was employed in told me that I had to "tone down" my personal life.

I am with every one else on this matter. The women get alot more greef from every one.
