Sad News

This isn't wedding related, but thought I would share it anyway. I came into work this morning, and found my friend, who is also my BM crying. It turns out that her cousin's husband was killed in a car accident last night, and she just found out this morning. Her family is very close, her teenage boys call the cousins aunt/uncle, and they are very good friends, all of them. Her cousing and her husband had fallen on hard time, but finally got everything going well for them. They have a young daughter, and a six month old little boy.

It is so sad and scary that in the blink of an eye, your loved one(s) can leave you. It makes me sad because I know that there is always the possibility that the last time you see someone may just be the last time for real.You really have to treasure every moment you have with them.

Please pray for thier family. I know that they can use it right now.

Thanks ladies. She is going thru alot. Her grandfather was diagnosed w cancer when she was first engaged, and then her father was diagnosed w cancer after she started planning everything. He is in terrible shape, he is paralized from the chest down, and won't be able to walk her down the isle when she gets married in three weeks. Now this.

The part that sucks the most is that there is nothing I can do for her to make her feel better. I told her to call if she needs anything from the store. I can cook for her kids, or clean her house, if she needs me to, but I can't make her pain go away.

That is true and it makes me sad too. But, I try not to think too much about it. I just pray every time DH and I leave each other and pray for my family and friends too.

I will keep your friend and her family in our thoughts and prayers.

One thing that I have made sure to do lately, is everytime I leave the kids at school, thier moms, or anywhere, anytime I leave Josh, or hang up w fam on the phone, I always tell them I love them. That is important for me.

I agree. I am sort of the same way..It has always scared me to think that someone could leave and never come back.
My biggest fear is that I won't get to say goodbye. :(

SO horrible to hear. About all you can do is be there for you friend when she needs a shoulde to cry on. I will keep her family in my prayers.
