A friend of mine got extensions for her wedding, it looked nice, I don't remember much else about it.
I think someone else around here got some too, but I don't remember who it was.

Welcome to the site!! My mom had extensions for a while when I was in high school. I acutally used to put them in for her. I personally, don't like them, I like the more natural look, but there are few dif ways to do them. What are you looking for?

Yes my best friend got them done for her wedding. They looked unbelivable but the cost was pretty rediculous too. They wanted her to get real hair and that was into the thousands for the extensions all together. She only added some fake hair into her real hair to thicken it a little bit. You would have never known that it wasn't real human hair.
I've seen a lot of people at weddings shows try them on aswell. This one girl tried one on and i never noticed how thin her hair was until she put on the extensions and wow!!!
For how I plan to do my hair (half up half down) I might be getting soem as I have very thin hair to begin with not to mention splitting it in half.
Just watch the cost, and the charge for putting them in by a hairdresser. The prices can get VERY steap!
ANd most importantly, WELCOME!

I had hair exstensions for many years and would not reccommend it. It tears out your hair and unless you have it in some sort of "up do" people can usually always tell that you have them. It's just not worth the money IMO.

i want them too, only cuz i want my natural hair colour on my wedding and will be cutting alot of it off, just a little to add some length would be nice, i think you can get them temporary. or find a way that they will have to take them out the next day and give you your money back..;) lol

im going to get hair extensions for my wedding, my wedding day is july 24th so i can tell you more then! but from what i do know is that if you are getting them sewn in you need to have it done at least 1-2 weeks before the big day because it is very hard to get use too (itching and the pulling can cause major head aches) also if you have a sensitive scalp they hurt a lot to put in (i dont know if youve ever had corn rolls done?). sewn good ones usually last 2-6 months depending on the price. i dont recomed glued ones they are good for just a one day thing (but seriously that all they last for then they start falling out). Im lucky that i know someone she is giving me a great price, if your looking to save some funds but still have expensive extensions - call beauty schools, they are cheap and they have supervisors that watch them like hawks. I cant wait to have awesome jessica simpson hair! oh and FYI only the glued extensions pull your hair out and unless done amazingly dont really look like your hair. Sewn ones look just like your hair my friend has them and they look AMAZING totally recommend!!
