Well, Amber & Jason got married 7 1/2 weeks ago, and we finally got their professional pictures! Amber was working on them until midnight last night, and she has to go to work this morning. Bless her heart! She resized them and sent them to me last night. So far, these are the ones she picked for me to post. So, let's get started.

OMG! They are gorgeous! I love the ones of the ceremony with the window in the background so you get a silhouette effect! Everything was gorgeous, I really like the cake and the reception decorations!

I called this journal *At Last* because that song sums up Jason & Amber's relationship. They wrote out the words and put it on the back of their program, and they played it right after they were pronounced husband and wife, and everyone laughed. It was a great moment!!!

Also I just want to say that we have loved every minute of our wedding journey with all of you here at Onewed!!! We couldn't have done it without you! As Amber sends me more photos, I will add them here to her Wedding Day Journal.

Yeah, there's tons more. One thing about them is that they are crystal clear and beautiful on the CD, but when you transfer them over to Photobucket and then put them on the forum, they lose their crispness. That sucks! Oh well, at least we get to see them. lol :)

I think I speak for the rest of the girls, as well as myself, when I say that we have really really enjoyed getting to know our OneWed Mom!! You are a and Amber are wonderful people Karen. It's been wonderful seeing both Amber's view on things and yours as well.

INCIDENTALS

I just wanted to update you on Amber's pregnancy too. I know many of you don't go over to the BabyRaising site.

This is Amber at 16 weeks. She will be 17 weeks tomorrow. She has an appt. on March 9th to find out the gender. We can't wait!!! :)

Thanks so much everyone for your kind words about Amber. We are so excited, we can barely stand it! No, we don't know what she's having yet, but her big ultrasound (as the baby lingo calls it), is on March 9th. And that appointment will determine gender. She will be 19 weeks at that time, and they say that you can really tell gender on 2D ultrasound at 18 to 20 weeks. So we should know as long as the baby cooperates. But if not, we have another appointment on April 14th for a 3D/4D ultrasound, (that we are paying for ourselves), where they can also determine gender. She will be 24 weeks at that time. So we have two chances to get it done, so we're confident we will at least know by April, but possibly March. Yay!!! :ura1:

Hi everyone! I'm sorry, I've been MIA. I've been very sick. I have lost a lot of weight recently (60 lbs, if you can believe it). I'm out of work on disability trying to get well. I posted this over at BabyRaising, but I wanted to share my grandbaby with all my old pals at Onewed, who never go over to BR.

Let me just start by saying that Amber's delivery didn't quite turn out like we planned. Amber suffered through so much pain, until they finally realized that Shayla was in what they call a "face presentation." It is quite rare, and it required that Amber get a c-section.

Anyway, Shayla was just perfect, and didn't require any time in the NICU. She took to breastfeeding very well too. She was 6lb 7.8oz, and 18 3/4in long. She is a very tiny baby, and we think she's just beautiful! Amber and Jason are just so much in love with her! You should see how they look at her! It's awesome! And, of course, Grandma adores her already!

Oh, how sweet!! You will have so much fun with her. She is adorable. Spoil her every chance you get. My ex's uncle always tell me Mom's and Dad's are for making rules...Grandma's and Grandpa's are for making memories!!!
