Ok I have seen all these threads about the dresses we want or already have. I thought it would be nice to see them all on one thread.

So I'll go first. This is the dress I want but our wedding is a ways away so knowing me I will change my mind a few thousand times more before I finally decide.

That's mine! It's going to be ivory with a lavender under layer peeking out in the back, only an inch or so, but it's my favorite color!

the material will be red Iridescent crush taffeta matrerial with a bit of a gold sheen to it.

Very nice. You will have to take a picture when you get it. I would love to see it.

Pretty!! I had my heart set on another dress, but then saw this one and that was it. It's me! I was going to get a tea legnth, which I still think are gorgeous, but I figured, I'll get to wear a short dress again. Long dresses look so much more fancy. Since many aspects of our wedding will be dressed down, the dress will be dressy.

Yep! I picked it up about 2wks ago! My tiara came in the mail today, and I'm waiting on my veil. I got a cathedral length with rhinestones all over it for $21 after shipping, I'm soooooo excited!

It will be in the blush (pink) color. And as many have asked, no I will not have the 80's hairdo and the bottom hem is even (model is standing on rocks for some reason and it looks uneven in the picture).
I will likely add straps.

I don't like the 80's mohawk looking hair do though :wink: I see alot of weird hairstyles ib models, what are they thinking? Do people really were their hair like that? It looks like she just got out of bed and hair-sprayed it :lol:

Well I have not found mine yet and I have to wait till I have some money to put down but I know what I am looking for. I want a dress with color and any color really but there are 2 dresses I have looked at that have purple in them. Here are a few pics of what I am looking at.

Ruby I love your dress. When I starting looking at dresses I have always been drawn to Bonny. I love her style. The one I fell in love with of hers I can't find any where any more.

Needless to say I am still looking. I have alot of ideas and very beautiful dresses in mind but nothing for sure. My big thing is the money. I tried on 2 that i loved but the price is too much for me. I dont have $600 or $700 to spend on a dress. I am on a budget and I was looking for more along the lines of about $300. I have found so many on line that i love for that price but my thing is not being able to try them on first.

Everyone's dresses are so BEAUTIFUL! I love them all. For those of you who don't have dresses yet, I suggest looking on ebay. I got a Mary's Bridal Dress for $70 with shipping, I figured for that price it was worth the risk and I am so happy with it! They have all sizes from all different designers, its worth a look at least. Here is my dress. :)

courthay I have been looking on e-bay and have found some really nice gowns for a very cheap price. I think once i have the money i am going to take a chance to. I do have a question for you though. How did you know what size to order? Did you go get measured by some one?

Yeah, I just went to a bridal shop and tried on some dresses to see if the styles I like fit OK and they did the measurements while I was there. You can also do your measurements yourself, if you go to most designers webpages they usually have a sizing chart. But if you haven't tried on any dresses, you might want to actually go to a store and try some on because that way you know if the styles you like look good on you or not. Good Luck! :)

You know what I think is amazing: for the most part, we all have extremely different dresses (negating the fact that Lacey and I are wearing the same dress...lol). I just mean, there's such a wide variety of styles in here...you'd think they would do the same in movies. Ever noticed how in a movie where someone's getting married, they are almost always getting married in practically the same dress that someone else in another movie got married in...

As of yesterday I offically have my dress picked and ordered!! It's pretty simple, but I love it and it's perfect for my day!

It is going to be ivory with the champagne trim. They had a veil there that matched it perfectly, but it was $135. Sorry, that's WAY more then I want to spend. So I'm going to attempt to figure out how to make it myself.

I've found all sorts of instructions for making your veil yourself. You shouldn't have a hard time. Your dress is BEAUTIFUL! I think you're in that one in one of your photobucket pictures...it looks really nice on you! Congrats on finding the dress! :)

Good idea Jenn...getting rid of the capped shoulder sleeves I mean. My sister-in-law's bm dress choice had capped shoulder sleeves and they didn't fit at all. We all looked like we had wings!

Yeah.... They were huge on me so they kept falling off. Without the cap sleeves i looked more like myself.

I have 2 dresses in mind. This first one is perfect for my day. And outside wedding and the pastel colors match the colors my girls will be wearing. But each time I e-mail the seller it gets sent back. I can't reach them. ( I can't copy and paste the picture like I want to so here is the link. )

Then as I was looking aorund I came across another site. This one has the dress I fell in love with months ago when I first started looking for my gown. As time went on I couldn't find it no laonger. It is by Bonnie. I think it must have been discontinued or something. But this site has it. I e-mailed them a couple of questions but I am not sure about this site either. I like the second dress too! I have met alot of girls that have gotten their dresses online and were very happy. Just make sure you check out their return policy! Some places require you to notify them in a couple days if you want to return the dress. I ordered a dress online and it is beautiful(the train is too big for me though) but I didn't pay alot of attention to the return policy so now I am stuck with it. I've gotta get it on ebay sometime soon.;)

OK i got a hold of the person from the site of the 2nd dress. They said they can that exact gown in any color. I also sent them the link to the dress i liked with the pastel flowers and they said they could make that one as well. I am keepign in touch with them to see how i can be sure to get a quilty gown for my money and if i will get a gown at all. I am so nervous of spending my money and not gettign what i ordered.
