Did you or will you carve a real pumpkin this Halloween (helping others counts, like nieces/nephews for example)?

No, I didn't. It's not really something I enjoy doing. I have seen some really good ones though. I can definitely appreciate what other people can do!

of course! I think I did 6-7 for the wedding. I am getting quite good at it now, lots of years of practice!

Eric and I carved ours Saturday afternoon...I was done in about 40 minutes, the "Master Pumpkin Carver" however carved for 2 hrs and 20 minutes....it is SO COOL....we got one of those pumpkin carving kits with the patterns to do really neat designs.

Not this year, we usually do back home. I told Chris, I'd take him to a pumpkin patch sometime! He's never been to one!

Not this year :( Next year we will be for sure. But between us moving and not really having a house we can't. I should have done one for my mom's house now that i think of it.

Nope. I did one two years ago and really enjoyed it, though it was definitely messy!! But, not this year... I just got halloween decorations from Michaels (at a 50% off discount) and put those up. WHen we finally own a house, I plan on doing that and really making our house shine at all of the different holidays! I love decorating for holidays!! I just hate taking the deco's down! lol

I did and made some great pumpkin seeds this year, with onion powder, garlic powder, salt pepper, worchester sauce olive oil and a little cayenne pepper, they turned out awesome, i almost carved another one just for the seeds

Nope and we won't be seeing any trick or treaters either. We live in an apt. and the kids just don't come around. I don't blame them nowadays but apt. buildings used to be the greatest place to go when we were kids - warm inside & doors just feet from each other!

Heard one lady on the radio say that she didn't even want to give out candy this year because she was worried about a possible home invasion. We seem to have at least one individual that knocks on doors, ties up the occupants and then robs them blind; sometimes taking their car & bank cards on the way out.

This is one of the many reasons I don't participate in Halloween.

I would if I lived in an area where I could expect trick or treaters. My parents probably did. Actually I took down my Halloween decorations except the yard sticks this afternoon and put my Thanksgiving ones up. It wasn't very yard because some of them can go for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Catch me in another month and it'll be crazy. It takes me several hours to put up all the Christmas decorations!!!

Yep, 3 at home and 2 at the FILs.
We had 1 more to do here but got a little burned out. We bought one of those carving kits which worked out but boy do you need lots of patience. Too bad I never learned patience! LOL

We had 2 pumpkins from the wedding that we were going to carve...and we were just so busy we never got around to it. So they are still sitting in our garage....and they never got carved. What a waste.:(
