Ok, so the thread sounds somewhat lame, but one of my design teachers showed me this book when he noticed that I was looking at wedding stuff on the computer. Basically, it is page after page of instructions on how to make boxes and containers.
I am planning on using vellum paper and then making the boxes to put candy in for the guests at the reception. All you have to do, is stretch the picture the size you want it, and then print it. The solid lines are where you would cut, the dotted lines are where you fold and the large spots are where you'd glue. Good luck and have fun!!
The first one posted is the one I am planning on using.

That IS a great idea. I should try to do something like that for the mints, one at each table, rather than wrapping them for each person. You can print your name on the vellum, and then fill it w the candies. I like that.

Amazing idea! I am going to buy some vellum and put m&m's in them, along with giving everyone the cookie cutters! It will be rather cheap :)

Just thought that I would say that I tried this idea! I bought vellum ($10 for 50 sheets) and I used a palm tree punch that I bought, and this is what I got.... For the reception they will be filled with M&M's not the construction paper that I used here for looks...

Here is the top... (its on its side on the desk): http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l299/jacklynn428/100_2649.jpg
I tried to get the detail of the punch but it was blurry...
