I voted other - What child is this? is my favourite.
My grandmother was a hired church soloist her favourite carol was Oh Come All Ye Faithful .... my mother told me when I was a child that her mother/grandma sings that carol every year in Heaven's choir.
Everytime I hear it, I can't help but smile and think of the grandma I never got a chance to meet. :)
BTW - Heaven's choir has got to be a beautiful thing!
ETA - Go Tell it on the Mountain - sung by any big gospel choir is another good one!

OH oh oh .... and Mary did you know (fairly new song as far as I know). Reba McIntyre sings it.
Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will one day walk on water?
Did you know
That your baby boy will save our sons and daughters?
Did you know
That your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that youve delivered
Will soon deliver you
Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?
Did you know
That your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand?
Did you know
That your baby boy has walked where angels trod?
And when you kiss your little boy
Youve kissed the face of god
Mary, did you know?
The blind will see
The deaf will hear
And the dead will live again
The lame will leap
The dumb will speak
The praises of the lamb
Mary, did you know
That your baby boy is lord of all creation?
Did you know
That your baby boy will one day rules the nations?
Did you know
That your baby boy is heavens perfect lamb?
This sleeping child youre holding
Is the great I am
LOL Ok .... I have an idea ... who wants to swap a burned CD's of their favourite Christmas music with me. I love getting new Christmas music every year!

I like Silent Night alot. But i also really like jingle bells too.
There are a couple Christmas songs written by newer artists. The Smashing Pumpkins have a really great one. I just can't remember it's name right now.

My favorite song is by the Eagles - Please come home for Christmas. I love this song. I also like Elvis's Christmas album as well. I listen to it each year when decorating the christmas tree. my DD is tired of it and makes fun of it each year, but i bet if I didn't do it she would ask for it.

I voted for Carol of the Bells, that one is amazing if sung by a very talented choir, although it is easily ruined by people who can't sing well.
I also love any piece from The Nutcracker.

I don't know that I really have a favorite. I guess like Silent Night, and 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' and 'Holly, Jolly Christmas' are the few that come to mind right away. I really like the funny songs too, like 'I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas'

My two favorite traditional ones are Silent Night (it's just so peaceful and beautiful) and Little Drummer Boy.
In terms of newer ones, I like Jingle Bells and Rudolph. But, really, I love all Holiday Music and would start listening to it now if I could!! DH would never let me get away with it, though!

I like the Hippopotamus song too! I also like Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. I have it downloaded as a ring tone on my phone and will bring it back up when Christmas time gets a little closer.

My favorite christmas song is "Do you hear what I hear?" which they never play on the radio at holiday time anymore! I also love "The First Noel" especially sung by Clay Aiken..
and of course, any of Bob Rivers Twisted Christmas CDs!!!
