I can't afford a ton of flowers, so in keeping with my Victorian theme, I'm sewing little reticule purses for my bridesmaids and making feathered fans. They'll carry both down the aisle. I'm making feather fascinators for their hair and they'll have bouteneirres similar to the men's.

All of these accessories are given in lieu of gifts, so I've saved a few hundred dollars!

I'm making most of my stuff including accessories. For our guest gifts my aunt and I are making home made jam for everyone in a pretty little container. DIY makes things so much cheaper and really gives you a sense of accomplishment in the long run! Keep on truckin girl! Can't wait to see pics of what you've done.
