Alex and I are going to be taking a little trip. I have off Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday around NYE. Alex is going to take off Saturday, Sunday and Monday. So we are going to just take a little trip to get away from all the hustle and bustle of work and our lives to just enjoy our time as being newlyweds. So we are just going to go to either Des Moines, IA or Chicago, IL. I'm thinking we will probably goto Des Moines because its cheaper and closer...but we'll see.

Hmmmm haven't thought about it yet. We might still be together with Hugh's parents up north.

Last year, we went out for dinner, came home and I fell asleep on the couch before midnight.

One year before I am too old to do it, I want to go to some fancy schmancy ball where Hugh is in a tux and I get to wear a pretty gown.

Another wish is to experience New Years in Times Square.

Yet another New Years wish is to spend it in Scotland and go first footing with my cousin.

We don't know yet. Last year we stayed home and the year before we went to dinner and dancing.

Mark and our BiL have already decided that New Years is going to be at our new townhouse. It's been there for the past 2 years cause it was my SiL's house before ours. It's prime location cause good friends of ours live next door and we have lots of space for people to stay the night.
We are really looking forward to it! :whoohoo:

We haven't really discussed it yet. Last year we stayed home, but decided we would try to go out this year. We haven't yet made any plans, so anything is possible!

We usually stay home, I don't want to get out with all the crazy drunk people. Sometimes we have a couple of friends over and we watch the 'peach' drop on TV.

We haven't talked about what we are doing this year, we will most likely still stay home.

We stay home and watch all the stuff going on on TV. We might have a drink or 2 or we may just be barely awake when the ball drops. Last year the kids actualy stayed up with us.

We go out - usually to our local which normally has a fancy dress on - though its changed ownership this year. We come back from the cottage so are likely to go as it will b our noght of drinking. I hate new years eve, i love the celebrations etc but it makes me sad and depressed when i think of the years past! xxx

Well, I am either working that night, or the next morning. This year I actually have off, but FH works the overnight. So I'll probably just go to bed like any other night. I never really got into the excitement of a new year. But, if any of you ladies want something to do, you are welcome to come party at my place!

As most of you know, I will be getting married on Dec. 30th. We leave for Jamaica on the 31st, so on New Year's Eve I will be on the lovely island of Jamaica!!!!!

Honestly, I haven't thought that far in advance, but my guess is that we will be staying at home.
