I thought I'd post my projects here, since not everyone reads my journal.
My centerpieces are ceramic pumpkin buckets from dollar tree. I was leary of using them, but my mom bought a few, and I really didn't think they were from the dollar store! they are really nice.
We filled them with fall flowers (also from dollar tree) and leaves.
The halloween figures we made with the help of my cousin Patty. She teaches polymer class classes at a craft store.

Frankenstein and Bride. I made these for our sweetheart table, but I've since made a new set that I will post later when my camera battery charges!
The polymer clay is really easy to work with, and there are tons of books out there on it. I'm thinking of making some cake toppers to sell!

The glasses for the bridal party we got at walmart on clearance for $4 for 12! The ones with the black ribbon and spider are for my moh and the bm, and the others for the groomswo/men and bridesmaids. They are just hot glued to the base of the glasses.

I didn't like this card cage whem mom bought it (birdcage i called it) and she wouldn't let me paint it black.
I compromised with weaving fall ribbon thru the bars, and putting a bow with wired leaves on front. The bow was made by wrapping the ribbon around my hand with my fingers splayed out (I wrapped it 4 times) then cinching the middle with floral wire. I then attached the leaves and topped it with wrapping a small piece of ribbon around the middle. The garland was my moms idea, I need to fix it.

The cake servers (wilton brand) were bought at walmart on clearance for $2! TWO DOLLA! I love sales!
Again, ribbon, a leaf on each, and hot glue. So easy. It does help if you can tie a bow, i tie mine upside down!

This is not my flowergirl, it's my bell ringer, but he was available.
this was the project that took the longest. I started with three long pieces of thick floral wire and braided them together. I bought several bunches of fall flowers and leaves and cut off the flowers with a little bit of stem. I then used floral tape to tape them to the wired, covering all of the wire with flowers. It was easy, just time consuming. The ribbons are just tied on. I took a pic of my actual flower girl in it today, but again, waiting for the battery to charge.

Great pics and ideas. If you decide to make some cake toppers let me know. I may want you to make ours, since I haven't really seen what I wanted. Although, I have found some toppers that I could tolerate.

The flower girl dress is unique. I hope you don't mind me saying so, but wern't you worried that later on when you look back at your wedding photos you will wish you went traditional on some things??
Such as the flower girl dress, and the Bell Ringer???

Nope. I wanted a different wedding. We are doing ALOT of traditional stuff. For the flower girl, I wanted her to be a halloween fall fairy. I didn't want yet another flowergirl in a white mini bridal dress like almost every wedding I've seen. The bell ringer I did because I wanted to include Luke in the wedding, and he LOVES bells, and since he is autistic we came up with this that he could walk down first (he LOVES to be first) and then sit down with my mom (she will be taking away the bell and he knows that) for the ceremony. The only kid that will be standing with up with us will be the flowergirl.

Thanks!
Tonight I hope to post pics of the ringbearer cloak that mom and i are making. I'm not huge into Lord of the Rings, but I have to make him a little Frodo like! hehe. Also going to begin working on beading my veil if I have the time tonight.
