How many medications are you taking right now?

This is to go with Karen's "are we over medicated" poll.

I thought it would be interesting to see how many medications people are taking and if you want to, share for what and why.

I am on two medications right now. Later on in the month I will be taking four. The reasons for my medication are my infertility issues so it's not really like I'm sick. I have to take two (same) pills a day to get AF again and then two more (same) of clomid a day. Then when I have tests done I have to take antibiotics so I don't get an infection and another pill to keep me from having pain. Uggg! I hate pills!

I am on five medications right now, but I actually take 11 pills total.
I had a kidney transplant a year ago, so I will have to be on the medicine for the rest of my life. Hopefully they will cut it down to three soon.

I am not on any. I do take vitamins and the occasional Tylenol for headaches or something, but I don't think that counts.

I'm not on any right now...I stopped the BCP when we started TTC so except for Folic Acid and a Multivitamin I'm not on any!:chimp:

I have 4 in all! Thyroxine for my under-active thyroid, co-codamol for headaches (although they can make them worse, i have chronic daily headache syndrome, WHAT? thats what i though when they told me, they make it up as they go along i think!) I also have a nasal spray for my migraines, these replace waifers, and diclofenac for my temporomandibular joint disfunction syndrome!! (mouthful!) I just stopped taking beta-blockers for my migraines! I was the runt i think!!! Somethings always going wrong with me!! Thank god my children are very healthy!!!!!:)

I take 3 of them daily. My blood pressure pill early in the morning and my hormone pills at night. and off and on during the day i take my acid reflux meds.

I'm only on my BCP, so that's one a day. Which is more than enough for me!

I take allergy meds almost daily. I also take vitamins and the occasional OTC pain killer for headaches or whatever.

I was supposed to be taking Librax for my IBS/anxiety, but I stopped because of the pregnancy. I haven't started them again. I also take a vitamin when i remember to!

I am not taking any meds. at the currant time. Only time i'm on any med's is when my back flares up and I have to take 2 pills 4 times a day for the pain :( I hate pills.

Despite the popular belief of over medication of people, it doesn't sound like any of us are over medicated. Interesting.

Currently. I am taking 5.
2 for anxiety problems.
1 BCP (which i will be stopping in the new year once everything is healed and we are given the green light :whoohoo:
2 different anti-biotics 6 times a day for the next 2 weeks. :snide:
Then up to 8 a day T1's for the pain i'm still having from surgery and the infection.

These days i think i might just rattle if you were to shake me.

I see this is fairly old but I missed it some how. I am not on any. I was told to take ibuprophan (sp?) 3 times a day for my hip pain but I only take it when I get into majoy pain. Other then that none. I hate taking naything unless I absolutely have to.

I'm not taking any right now. Every now and then I go through a spell where I get migranes all the time, and then I have some pretty strong medication for it, but right now I'm fine although the moving stress is getting to me and I'm afraid they'll hit again when the adrenaline + excitement goes down after the move.
