If you choose to, please share if you have one in your family, and who it is. :)

oh gawd. Several of my cousins have joined the world of drugs and ****, and most don't live around me and are in jail. One of my cousins neglected and abused her two kids, which is why they live with me now!

I think my cousins, Larry & Ricky, were most notorious black sheep in the family, because everyone was scared of them, they carried guns, were thieves, went to prison, and were addicted to booze and drugs. :bbeek: They both eventually died of liver disease. :(

Some considered me a black sheep because I married a black man. But I did absolutely nothing to warrant that label. They're just a bunch of bigots! :snide:

Well said Ellen. I (at one time) was the black sheep. Not anymore. But there are some lurking.

Just a SIL that drinks too much at each family wedding (and every other family occasion for that matter) and causes scenes to remember.

That said, my ex's family had more black sheep than you could count on one hand. Whenever there was an incident, I felt like I was involved in some reality show or an episode of the Twighlight Zone.

My uncle had the dubious honor of ebing the black sheep for a while, due to drugs and alcohol and general bad living. But, before he passed, he really turned himself around and really showed his family how much he loved everyone.

Now, my aunt is the black sheep. She's done enough in the passed 2 and a half years that she could be on the Jerry Springer show and fit right in. Let's just say that what she's done has caused her to literally be disowned by just about every single family member.

My fam is interesting. There is usually someone who is a black sheep. Then when all is good w that person, another becomes the black sheep. It's a fam of drama.

It would have to be my brother bobby, who at this moment I am not sure if he is alive or dead or in jail, it has been 18 years since I have heard from him or seen him, I think he is in Texas somewhere.

Yep, I think every family has at least one. I think we have a couple ... sometimes I think I am one because I am rather different than most of my family. We have aunts and cousins that we don't speak to and some that have been and out of some kind of trouble for as long as I can remember.

In DH's family I think it is his brother, he is always getting into some kind of trouble.

Not sure if you all mean bacl sheep as in some oen who is in trouble or has nothign to do with the family. I would say tha tI am the balck sheep when it comes to my imediate family. I am not much a drinker btu yet that is all there is to do back home. I go home to visit and every one is wondering why I am not drinking and keeps askign me what I want to drink and calls me a light weight. I am the only one moved away and every one else is around for every thing.

In the extened family my autn has chagned alot over the years and so have her daughters. We grew up with them all. They moved away and never go hoem for any thing, not my grandfaterhs furnerl or my wedding or even their own mother being sick. But that is partly their moms doing. She tells them not to bother coming home for anything.

Just one? LOL, there are several. Justin has an uncle who has done prison time. I have an uncle who was a carnie. I know he has been to jail too. It can get pretty crazy.

I believe that I would be the black sheep! I have had my problems in the past with drugs, depression and a few other things. I really have taken a lot of **** for something that was out of my control. Now I choose to make myself the black sheep. I don't need their negativety in my life and so I alienate myself from family functions and family members. If you can't love someone when they screw up, you shouldn't get the right to love someone when they go straight.

We have a few black sheep in our family. But my family is considered the "black sheep" mainly because we just don't fit in with everyone else in our family. We are pretty much the only down to earth ones that went to college and got degrees and make decent money....everyone else works these crappy jobs and their kids are into meth and all of that....there are a few ok ones, a few bad ones, and then us pretty much! LOL!

Said to say but we do have a big family but I am considered the black sheep of the family from when I was a teenager to present time. B/c when I was a teenager i drank and did some mary jane. Not any more though, But since I have had children the reason I am now is b/c I am the second to last grandchlild to be married. I have a very religous family and it is frowned upon to have children before marriage and also to live with the childrens father for as many years as I have and not marry him. I find it ridicouls for there reasoning and it bothers me even more that when I see them at first they are so sweet to my face but then within 10 min they are badgering me about not being married yet. OH well I guess someone has to be it lol
