Being completely honest here. I'm somewhat tolerant. Probably more than others, but not as much as I would like to be. I'm working on it though. :)

I'm extremely tolerant of other's differences. Differences and diversity is what makes life interesting. As long as their differences are not hurting anyone else, then it's all good by me.

That is pretty much how I feel. I can accept just about anyone as long as they don't push their stuff on me. However, I don't think I could actually be friends and hang out with people that were too different than me KWIM ... I mean, what would we talk about?

But I try not to judge people for their differences, whether it is race, sex, orientation, religion or whatever. I have had 'first impressions' of people based on the way they look or dress, but I try not to let that influence me.

I am with Maria on this one too. I tolerate alot. I work with many people with differnt personalities and deal with many more as customers. I may gripe once in a why but I can work and get along with just about any one.

Fairly tolerant. I attribute this to where I was raised - meaning near the city.

Growing up, our neighbours were Greek, English, French, Dutch, German, Chinese and Black (from the Islands) - Block parties were a blast!!!!

In school, I was introduced to many many more other ethnic backgrounds and religions. I am tolerant of these types of differences (and interested too), but I am intolerant of ignorance, racism and biggotry.

I like to think that I am extremely tolerant. I accept a lot. I'm not perfect though.

I have to say i am pretty tolerant. I have no problems with other cultures, races, sexual orientation.
But i have to be honest. I am not tolerant of people who are not tolerant of other peoples differences. I get very annoyed when people who say mean or rude things about people of other cultures, races, sexual orientation. I try to avoid people who are going to talk in that way arround me because it just fustrates me.

I would have to say that i'm extremely tolerant and i'm raising my children the same way. I have no problem with anyone from a different race, background or upbringing from me. The only time I will have a problem with you is if you and act on your (sexual) beliefs onto me, other than that i'm tolerant. We have had a few neighbors that were BI and were also gay. me and my family treated them no different, than if it was a man and woman living next door.

I'm somewhat tolerant of other people"s views. There are just some issues that get me mad its hard to understand how some think.

I of course don't think badly of people who are different than I am, so I am tolerant in that aspect, but honestly I HATE the word tolerance..... it is sooo untolerant in its meaning. Like it tends to limit people's beliefs. Like for instance, with Christians, for us as Christians to say that we don't believe that homosexuality is the right choice (although I have friends that are and I love them completly I just simply do not think its the best choice because of religious reasons) we are looked at as intolerant... when like others are being intolerant in not allowing us to believe what we want to believe if that makes sence....

like okay away from the religion part of it, if I don't like cussing, I am looked upon as being intolerant of people who cuss (when I dont have a problem with the people themselves) but like by people saying I am intolerant they are not respecting my views on the matter and therefore being intolerant to my views

soooo I say all of that to say that by people saying "you must be tolerant" it kind of limits our own beliefs and like concerns

hmmm that really doesn't say what I want it too, so basically I typed all of that for nothing because I didn't get my point across :( because its really hard to explain what I mean :(

I would have to say I am extremely tolerant. That's just the way I was raised. As you ladies have said, I do have a problem when they try to push things on me. You can be gay, religious, whatever.. I don't care. But just the same as I respect your way of life, please respect mine. I don't necessarily have to agree with all aspects, but to each their own.

There are issues like this for me too. I still try to be tolerant (maybe accepting is a better word) in that everyone has a right to their opinions, but I don't understand them ;)

In situations like this, I will try to just end the conversation with 'well you have a right to your opinion, so we will have to just agree to disagree'

I'm somewhat tolerant. It really depends on the person and situation on how tolerant I am.
