Do you care what other country's think of the USA?

We are so mistrusted around the world. I don't think there is another country on the planet that has such a bad reputation.

I know a lot of Americans say who cares what the world thinks of us. Do you care?

I do, to a certain extent. Our government has portrayed the US as a terrible country for a long while now...and I think it really hurts this country. People get sick of our "big headed-ness" of our government...and thats what people fight back.

I care a little bit too. I know we come off as being in charge of it all. But then other times, I could care less what they think. We are what we are, and I wouldn't want to be anything else other than American! I feel like I was lucky to be born here!

Sometimes I care a little bit, but most of the time I don't. I am proud of being an American and I would never been anything other than an American. I would die before I would be anything else.

I do care a little bit, mainly when they are judging on false information.
There are other times when I am like "who cares what they think"

I don't care what they think as they most likely could car less what we think of their countries. And there are plenty of people coming here to live still that they all cant think it is that bad of a place to live. Let themt hink what they want. I love living here and would rather be here then some of those third world countires. And if that means some people dnt like us then oh well. There is always going to be some one some where that doesnt like us for some reason. I can live with that.

I'm not American, & I don't want to be.

This is what I voted...not because I hate the states or Americans. (I have MANY friends there thanks to Onewed!! :D) But I am canadian and I wouldn't be anything else. I've heard people talk about us mergining with the U.S. to make one Country but I would not like to see that happen! I believe we are better off seperate countries. I think there would be far too many problems if we did come together. I still love my American friends though!! :D

I also voted that im not american and i wouldnt want to be - but for the same reasons as given by Shauna. I am Welsh and proud to be so i love my heritage and culture! What ever others say they think of America tho it still has the largest amount of people trying to move there so i think that sums it up in real terms! xxx

I voted im not american and dont want to be purely because im proud of being British!! But if i had to become i citizen of any other country, without a doubt it would be American!! (hopefully no offense to anyone else) You just seem to have such a great country like loads of smaller ones all rolled into one!:)

No, I don't really care what others think. If they don't like it then they can stay at home. Sure there are some bad things about the government, the country as a whole I think is a pretty good one.

The U.S. must be pretty great to at least a few people or we wouldn't have the immigration problem we do ;)
