Okay, I think I'm slightly getting back into the swing of things; although no promises! Lets see, it took me almost five months to start this journal - that's bad.

Anyways, a lot has been going on lately. My best friends got married the end of July (I say friends because I was friends with both the bride and the groom). Then we have had the apartment fiasco to deal with since. So a few weeks ago, while meandering around online, I found out that we could get approved for a mortgage. So now, we're house looking - the big news in our family! We found one we really like and put an offer in on Friday. On Sunday we heard back with a counter offer that was $1500 over the original listing price of the house - so we were kind of taken aback. We counter offered back a little higher than we had originally offered. We're determined that the lady who owns the house is going to come to her senses and realize that the longer the house is on the market (it's been on the market almost two years now) the more she's going to loose - and how innundated the market is with houses right now. We're hoping because we really like the house.

Other than that, there isn't much going on in our wedded life - maybe that's why I've been avoiding this. I don't have much to put in here. We did stop preventing children about two months back, but nothing has disappeared since then (if you get my drift). In fact, things have APPEARED! I was so used to being on birth control that I forgot how awful my complexion was. Oh well...I'm married, it's not like I have to impress anyone now anyways! :)

Boy that's nice to say! I'm married. Which reminds me, I put in the order for my wedding pictures yesterday and I get to go pick them up tomorrow. I got a full set for me, my mother, and my MIL - which totals almost 2,000 pictures! Hope they don't give them to me in those silly envelopes - that would be a LOT of envelopes! I can't wait to get them so that I can get started on my album. I bought it awhile back and it's been sitting here waiting for me to plan out everything and make it beautiful. Hey! We should start a scrapbooking thread in here with great ideas for our wedding scrapbooks - maybe I'll do that! :)

Jason and I are enjoying marriage very much and I think that we're even more in love now than we were when we got married! I wish all the other couples out there as much happiness as we have - even in the hard times, which really show you what your marriage is made of!

Well, I'll keep you guys updated as much as I can. I miss all of you and congrats to those who have gotten married while I was on hiatus and welcome to those who have joined while I was on hiatus.

Well, here's a quick update on our life:

We got all the wedding pictures. I have some more from my sister that I need to pull off her photobucket account. Some of them are almost pornographic (out of the shower, wrapped in a towel type pornographic) - whoops! I would put the link on here, but she's got her weird piercing pictures mixed in with them. She caught some good getting ready pics, which was nice because we didn't have very much from the salon. Here's a couple of my favorites:

Me and my hubby (doesn't he look excited?)

The beautiful bride - contemplating how NOT to trip over her dress on the way up the aisle (good thing it was a short aisle!)

Onto other news - we close on our house in less than two weeks! I am sending in our thirty day notice to our ****-head landlord today. I was very happy to find out that the people who moved in downstairs will be moving out at the end of their lease as well - which is February. So our landlord is going to have a completely empty house (because there is no way he's going to be able to rent out this apartment in the winter). Serves him right for being such a jerk to his tenants - glad to see Karma does kick people in the butt every now and then.

I have pictures of the new house, but I haven't uploaded from my camera yet. I'll get them up here when I can. I know I'm not on very frequently, but I'm trying. Thanks for all the responses! I've missed you guys too! I hopped on every now and then to look at pictures and stuff, but haven't really had the time lately to do much else. I decided to start on christmas preseants about a month/two ago because Jason was working so we had some extra money. I love making gifts so I've been busy making things. I would let you know what I've made, but I don't want people who might be reading this to find out! That's the best part of Christmas! So add house-buying, my crazy job, and Christmas preseants all together (plus a visit or two from my mother) and you get one crazy busy girl. I think I might be busier than I was just before the wedding! WOAH!

As far as baby status goes, the big secret is that I am a week and a half late. The pregnancy test I took at a week late show negative though, so I don't know what's going on. But that's where we stand on that subject.

Work has been frustrating. I've been crazy busy the last month or so, to the point where I'm getting consistent overtime (which is nice) but the lady I work with, who is actually hired by the company (not a temp) has barely been busy at all. Well, a week ago they decided they were going to give the associates another appreciation gift. The last couple of gifts were a grill cover (great for someone who doesn't own a grill), three model motorcycles, and remote control car/motorcycle (I haven't opened yet, so I don't actually know for sure). This time it was a REALLY nice poker set and a metal slinky (which you can't find hardly anywhere anymore) - but the temps don't get this one, just the actual Matco employees. Great, as if us temps had no bearing on the operations of the company - they just keep us there for fun apparently. It's not enough that the employees get paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick leave, and benefits - now they get the cool stuff the company decided to give away too. So that put me in a terrible mind set for this week (especially since, after getting her associate appreciation gift, my coworker took a three hour lunch!). To top it off, the end of this week was even worse than it has been - heck, even my coworker was slightly busy. The thing is, she's going on vacation next week, so she needed to get everything wrapped up. How does she get everything wrapped up? She tosses it on my desk. And this is the woman who I can guarantee makes more than I do an hour and has benefits, sick leave, paid holidays, and four weeks of vacation a year! It's been so frustrating - but I can't quit because we need the money and I like what I do - that's the kicker of all of it!

Wow! Didn't mean to vent so much. Sorry. Well, I gotta get going - my hubby is helping his boss (he works pro-bono for him) move to a new facility and dropped an I-Beam on his leg so he's coming home now. I have to make sure he's okay and make sure he sits with ice on his leg and then run to the bank so that I can put money in my account to pay the bills. This is life eh! Hope all is well with everyone. See you again soon!
