Alternative Gift Registry Ideas

My fiance and I have lived together for 3 years and we don't really need a lot of household stuff. i am worried that if i do not register at all then people will get me stuff i don't need and i'll feel really bad that they wasted their money. i have heard of a honeymoon registry or a new site for an education registry. Has anyone used these or have any other suggestions?

Amber who is one of the recent brides on this site used a honeymoon registry and it worked out very well for her. I think she got the whole thing paid for. I have also heard of a photography registry, but I have not known anyone who used this before.
