Okay, So I guess I need to dtart a wedding Journal.
I'll start with how we met:
He was a manager at Mobile (Gas Station). I went to apply for a cashier position I found in the paper. Anyway, he interviewed me, and of course, I got the job!
A few weeks after starting I mentioned to one of the other girls that worked with me that I needed speakers put into my car. Well, It just so happens Joe used to install them, so he offered.

He came to my house 2 days later to install my speakers. After he was finished, he asked to to dinner and a movie. I went.

From that night on we have been inseperable!

Our engagement story:
This story always makes me cry!
First let me start by saying that this was the first time Joe had ever met my mother's side of family, and they were throwing me a big party for my 21st!
Anyway, It was time to open my presents. I opened each one, and the very last was a medium sized box, with beautiful wrapping paper, and a huge bow on top. There was no card, or any indication of who it was from.
I opened the box, and the inside was filled with scraps of paper, with a small note from Joe that said to go to my aunt's bedroom, and there would be a gift in there. At this point I thought maybe it was car keys! (We had been talking about getting a new car!) So, I went into my aunt's bedroom,(of course everyone following at my feet) and there on her bed was an open ring box. I stopped right in front of it, and Joe walked up to me and got down on one knee and made his speech in front of everyone.

oh don't apologize!! Congratulations on being married. Was your wedding everything you wanted it to be? Post pictures, love pictures. :) That is super exciting. Can't wait to hear more.

I just read Amber & Jason's Journal, and realized I have not done my Thank-You cards either. Oops! Oh well.

So, what happens if you don't sign your marriage license and the minister turns it in???

I haven't done my cards, either.. Such a slacker I am.. Better get on it.

I'm thinking you should call down to the courthouse or wherever you got it from and ask them.

thanks everybody. I know my babies are cute, but it helps to hear it.
I got the professional pictures back but am having a hard time with finding a scanner. We have one here at work, but it takes do long to post everything and I have to be careful, so I'm trying to get them up for you, but it may take a couple more days.

YAY! I finally got my prof. pics back, but they aren't as good as I expected!!There were a few that turned out marvelous, but most didn't.:hothead:
anyway...I still cannot get the internet at my house, and still gave no scanner, but once I do I will FS post them!:notsure:

That is crazy! You may have the record for longest wait for pro pics. Then they aren't even good?! I would be voicing a major complaint.

Wow so sorry that some didn't turn out at all and then you still had to wait this long for the pic's. I would definetly be calling someone on this matter.

That's to bad, that this was a family friend (so to speak) and if she took the photo's for free. She should of atleast given you the pic's she took. But you are right, at least you have something.

I understand where you are coming from on the $ situation. We don't have the $ to pay for a proffesional photographer either. The lady that is taking our pic's, is also a family friend. But I have seen many of her pic's and they were pretty good. Also she gave the other couples we know all there pic's and the negatives. She cut us a really great deal that we coulnd't pass up, $250 for double prints and enlargements and a album. I can't wait.

But my aunt also does it and would charge us $0, but then I would be in the same boat as you. I would'nt recieve all my pics, no enlargements, no negatives. Only a few and that is it. So we opted to go for the family friend.

I hope in the end you will end up getting a few more pic's of your wedding.

Family friend or not, free or not, she is terrible! Wedding pics are priceless and if she promised you pics she should have delivered. You trusted her with your precious memories! Shame on her!!!! Had she not promised to do them, you could have asked someone else or found a photography student for less money!

I know. My mom actually doesn't even talk to her anymore, because of it..I feel bad, because I know she tried hard, but when I had seen other pictures she took, they looked AMAZING! so I didn;t second guess her, until I got Mine back!!
I mean there are a few, but not anything like "WOW"!

Okay, so I've been gone for awhile! I had alot going on earlier thid yr. and had to leave for awhile, but we have recently gotten DSL at our house so I will be able to jump on here for a bit whenI get home.
Not too much new stuff has been happening, except that joe and I just had our 1 yr. anniversary and we decided to rent a cabin in Branson, Mo. since we didn't really get a honeymoon and all. It was great! shopping, jacuzzi, out to eat, etc.
anyway, just trying to catch up with everyone here that I know, and some of the "newbie's" :geek:
