aww thanks!! Every day I get more and more anxious about the wedding. I look at the ticker and just kinda freak out more and more everyday. Not becuase I am afraid of something not happening, or I am getting married. I am freaking out because I am going to see my dad for the first time in a year, this whole planning thing is coming into place, I am going to be a Mrs. and my life will be changed forever and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

Well with 19 days do you want to know the part I am most worried about? The 10 day forcast is coming out for my wedding in 9 days!!!! I am going to be a basketcase checking that in 9 days. So think warm weather and NOOO snow or rain I know it is hard to ask for in the beginning of April in Vermont, but miracles happen. As i told Nick, it can snow ON THE DAY OF, but please please please do not snow or heavy rain thursday or friday. I don't care about bad weather on the day of since everyone will be there. I just want everyone to be safe.... UGH! Please think warm thoughts.

HAHAHA I love it :) I have the weather channel as a "favorite" button on my computer and check it daily, if not multiple times each day hehe. I always get excited about vacations and events when it starts working its way into the 10-day forcast, good to know that I am not the only one who does stuff like that lol

Oh geez, I am a weather buff. The weather channel is also my homepage and I think I refresh every few minutes. When a big storm is coming, Katy always knows the weather first and I read all about it..

Oh my gosh! You are getting married in 19 days. Those 19 days will be gone before you know it, almost like waking up tomorrow and you're getting married. I love the rehearsal dress. I can't wait to see pictures of the big day!

As you can tell I am really focused on working today. haha. I am just on here hanging out. I really have not that much work to do and a whole day to fill it with. So I have just been cruising around here. I am going to be busy the next week though to catch up before I am off from work for three days. But it is good, to get all the loose ends. No one is going to want to be around me Mon,tues,weds. before the wedding I am going to be a basketcase. but it is good Nick and I are taking Thursday off together to relax, get our tuxes together, have lunch, go tanning and get our marriage license. I have to make sure the place is open to get them then. I can't wait for that day to come as well, to make it really official. :)

9:00 AM- Girls get their nails done at Crystal Nails in Essex Junction. (Photographer not needed)
11:00 AM- Drop off Taebo at Daycare After Nails
11:30AM- Head off to Fairfax for Rehearsal Lunch
12:00-3:30- Rehearsal Lunch, Gift exchange and meet and greet at 1928 Main Street in Fairfax. (Bridal party, photographer, and family are all attending) *Uncle David we will come and get you for this or you can follow us up in your “Loaner”
4:00-5:00- Rehearsal at Hampton Inn, go over line up and where everyone will be standing for the ceremony.
5:30-6:30- Bridesmaids dinner

HEAD HOME FOR A GOOD NIGHTS REST

Saturday:
7:00 AM- Salli, Katy, Jenny and Dannielle (Hair stylist) Arrive at Hampton Inn with Breakfast
7:30-11:00AM- Get ready in Uncle David’s Room. Have Jim and Flower girls and Ring bearers all meet in Uncle David’s room to head down to the lobby together
11:30-12:00- Ceremony
12:00-1:30- Pictures with Family. (List of pictures will be provided)
2:00-4:30- Reception
4:30-5:00- If weather permitting pictures in the gazebo

haha to many cooks in the kitchen come out when seating charts are being made. I swear, people are thinking this thing is going to be HOURS long. I was in tears last night trying to figure out where to put everyone. It was just horrible. But it is done and by 6:00pm TONIGHT it will be out of my hands. :)

Wow, down to 17 days already! LOL! Yeah it was nice for us, we went back home on the Wednesday before the wedding...we did a lot of errands that day. But Thursday we had the day off together. My mom didn't want us aroudn the house since she was busy baking all of the pies and we would just get in teh way, so we went out to lunch and shopping, just killed time together. It was nice to be able to have downtime together before Friday hit and we had a ton of stuff to get put together.

Nick wasn't going to take Thursday off, but my puppy eyes won. haha So we are going to have a nice day with just him and I. Until the afternoon when we go get Tuxes, and stuff. I rode a mechanical bull and I would like to add no tight jeans to that! LOL...

One girl the rode had these tight jeans on and she had trouble getting on the bull and definately had trouble riding! Just bring something to hold your hair back while you ride then you can let it done. Chances are if you stay on long enough it will fall out anyhow!

Well we just got back from our final meeting. It was really good, we finished everything, talked about all the ins and outs of the wedding. I was getting really nervous and shaking. My face was red becuase I was about to cry with everything being so OVERWHELMING! I didn't think I would feel that way, but I was just sooo over loaded that I was getting teary eyed and was shaking. I couldn't even think straight. But I pulled myself together, still shed a few tears and still was shaking, but I ended up OK.
We paid our bill GASPPPP that was just a shocker, we knew how much it was going to be. But still we were not prepared to write out that large of a check. I almost choked. haha but it is OK. At least we got it all done and we are able to wipe our hands. They have our favors, our tables, out payments, and EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I showed her how we wanted the tables, how we wanted everyone to sit, what table numbers etc.

Before we left I happened to check the mail box and guess what? We got three more responses for YES they are coming to the wedding. So we had to stick them somewhere and pay more money for them to eat. I was soooooo mad. I couldn't believe it. so lucky for them we were able to add them on RIGHT before we gave our last count. If anyone responds now to late. Nicks mother MUST have called. That wench. I swear she is out there to kill me. But oh well, we are DONE and now we just sit back for 16 days. meet the DJ, pay him and then be ready to go!!!!

Well last night I FINALLY felt kinda like a bride. We were at the hotel last night in their lobby and I was going over everything in our box that I wanted her to set up and stuff. Some guy was on the couch watching TV and he was watching us smiling. He came over congratulated us and told me I was to young to get married. hahaha it was kinda funny. I accidentally forgot to put a respond to by April 12th, thing on it so I'm sure I'll get some late ones, but gosh I will be upset if people have my invite for almost two months before they send in the RSVP lol does it really take that long to decide? haha

I had a moment when we were trying to figure out tables at the hall that I was in tears (about a month before the wedding) and wanting to move the reception - as if we could have even done that at that late of a date. It all worked out fantastically and everyone loved what we did. In fact, we still get compliments on how beatuiful things were (and we were a seriously budget bridal couple - now we are budget newlyweds!)

aww I hope our wedding is just half as beautiful as everyone on here who have already gotten married. I will be happy. :) I was crying last night with all the stuff we needed to go over and all the money and the seating adn the place cards. I was just so flustered and thinking about the day. My face was bright red my mom said and hse could tell I was going to cry. She took me out to dinner last night. hahaha I love my mama.

Your wedding will be beautiful! Even if the placecards get lost or the caterer does something stupid - it will be beatuiful because you will be married to your best friend.

I did a lot of things without Joe's help - place cards, seating, invitation printing, etc. When we got in the car after the reception, he looked at me and said "Honey, you did a beautiful job - that was perfect." Thinking about that still makes me teary, because I really didn't care about any of the "icing" stuff at that point, just marrying him was enough.

Hey there. Glad you had a good time on Friday night. Well, I work this week & then a mixed up schedule. I work until noon on the 2nd (gotta pick mom up from airport - did i tell you she got to come?!), I work on the 3rd, off as of the 4th thru 10th, go back on 11th (have mandority reports due to the State Dept & nobody else knows how to do them), then off on the 12th & go in after I drop my mom off at the airport on the 13th!!

My major things are done, so now it is the little stuff to just finalize. What about you? I know you had most done, right?

Yup, I have most everything done.
I have all this week coming, then I work Monday-Thursday of the week after then OFF to get married and back to work on the 10th. UGH. :)

hahaha thanks everyone. :) We had a blast and were really lucky that place just opened and we were able to do something different and fun. We were going to a strip club, but FH is trying to get into the police department and I really didn't think it would reflect to good on his polygraph test. So we went to have some good fun riding a bull. hahaha
Well 12 days. :) Just checking the forecast, taking tums for my heartburn and just hanging in there. I just cannot cannot wait. It is going to be an amazing day and I am to the point right now where I think about it and start tearing up. hahaha

Its just stress, when I get stressed out inside of freaking out or getting upset I just get heartburn. Then it goes away after the stress is gone. Doctor just told me to take tums or pepcid I guess.... I just take tums for the calcium since I do not drink milk. so it works both ways.

:p Its funny, the wedding is all I think about at home and SOMETIMES at work. But I am so busy at work right now just trying to get it all done before I leave I really do not think to much. But when a client calls and they want to know if they can meet me later next week I have to tell them I will be out of the office and they are high needs individuals so they kinda freak out and ask where I am going, I cannot disclose any information to them, So I tell them its work related but in the back of my mind I am screaming I AM GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am just so stinkin excited. 2 more days until I can see what the weather may be like on my wedding day. Keep your fingers crossed. I checked it today for next thursday and mostly sunny for my uncle to fly in. Tormrow i can check the weather for my dad to fly in. I KNOW it can change in a matter of a day. but at least everyday now I can check it and freak out if need be. hahaha This is INSANE!!!
I wanted to get my mom a gift that was pratical and something she would use. Bear in mind my mom fronted almost this whole wedding herself (Bless her heart) She is a single mother, living alone and working about threee jobs. So Nick and I went out and got her a pink razr phone from Verizon. she has wanted one for MONTHS and coulnd't afford it because I am a spoiled brat. So we went and got one for her. I am SOO excited to see her face when she opens it next friday. I know it is not really a "wedding gift" but I know she is going to LOVE it and I am SOO excited when she opens it. She is going to die. hahaha.
Then for Nicks parents we got them a dinner gift certificate adn I am going to make her a scrapbook of the wedding photos and a 11X14 framed picture of the family on the wedding day. For my dad, well nothing. hahaha. For my officiant since he is doing it for FREE, I am going to get them a dinner gift certificate and he LOVES dunkin donuts so I am going to get him a gift certificate for there as well. hahaha. Other then that, tonight I am wrapping hte bridal party gifts. Making the flip flops for the bridesmaids, freaking out a bit and going on from there.

So last night I had a full blow panic attack (I am prone to those) I had a nightmare that my friend was going to crash the wedding (She is the one who I asked not to be my bridesmaid, then never RSVP'd to the wedding) SO I woke up and started thinking about the wedding, and about things that could go wrong and all the work I put into it and how I was going to walk down the aisle in front of 125 people etc. I just got myself all worked up. Couldn't breathe, got sick to my stomach, got all sweaty. It was crazy. I am not nervous about the act of GETTING married I know I want to marry Nick and even with 10 days left I have NOOO cold feet. It is just all the work, money, love, and time I have put into this I want it to work out and I am always the one who thinks that something will go wrong.. So, I am OK now. I just felt really overwhelmed last night and cannot imagine what I will be feeling NEXT week. hahaha

haha you are so sweet. I get them all the time so it was nothing out of the ordinary, but I must say I was really proud of myself. I have not had ONE wedding related one until last night, so I was doing really well. I am just so full of emotions right now, I just think it caught up to me.

Thanks Sara. I try, but like you said easier said then done. I usually just breathe and think of something else and they usually go away. But I know that they are there, and will be coming more often, but I know what they are and can usually control them pretty well. Before I knew what they were I swore they were heart attacks. It was terrible. But I am A-OK today.

I am sure the weather will be OK. Snow showers here in Vermont is snow, but like I said it melts to make the road just wet. As long as that happens, I am good. My dad flies in around noon and my grandparents around 4. This is mean to say, but if my dad arrives Ok and my grandparents are a bit delayed I am OK. I want my dad there for the rehearsal dinner and festivities. My grandparents do not need to be there for that. But OF COURSE I want them here. Wow that sounded really mean, but I hope you all know what i mean. hahaha

hehe thanks everyone! I have a week and two days. :) Umm, I think that everything is pretty much set. We just have to get our tuxedos this weekend, we are getting our marriage license a week from today, and then just dropping off the flower girl dresses this weekend as well. Other then that, just some wrapping the gifts for the bridal party and our parents. I have to get my dress steamed and cleaned, thats about it. Friday morning is when I am going to be really busy. I finally went to the dentist yestarday thinking that i just really need to get it over with, with the wedding being here and all. So I went, and got to talking with my hygenist who I know, and she is getting married in 7 weeks. So I told her about my wedding and all, and we were talking about cost and I said well you know, you only get married once, (Insert foot in mouth) I realy didn't mean it like that, meaning divorce is this horrendous thing, my parents are divorced, so anyway, she got really quiet and I KNEW she had been divorced before. So of course I apologized and felt like an idiot. How could I have been so stupid. Of course people get divorced and the they can find someone else, so much better for them. So after that, it was kinda ackward, but she was OK after awhile, I just felt like such an idiot. So she left and had to go and get her kids, and this women came over and was SOO rough. By the end of the day, my jaw and teeth hurt so bad, I had to take some advil and go to bed, it was awful. I guess that was my punishment for being so rude and dumb!! But at least its done for another 6 months.
Saturday I have an eye appointment to get contacts, then Nick has a dentist appointment, then he needs to be home for a three hour phone interview with the state police in Alaska. so I will be scrapbooking the bachelorette party pictures and watching the dogs. YEA!!! :)

Thats right, it will be my last weekend as a non-married women!! I keep thinking about that at work. We have board meetings every Tuesday and Thursday and next Tuesday is my last meeting as a non-married women. It is just crazy to think like that. :)

Tonight Nick and i are going to the craft store to get stuff for our wedding scrapbook and our bachelor/bacherlorette scrapbook. Should be fun just to get out and do something non-wedding. Well kinda non-wedding. Hopefully we can just relax, we are both so wired from just thinking about all the things we need to do before the wedding, we are both just exhausted. Today was the BEST day ever. I went to my moms house and we were talking and she goes "I have something for you and the wedding that I want to give you now" I thought it was going to be like shoes, or a something. So I OK, I also thought it was a cell phone because I had wanted one (I am horrible I know) So anyway, she comes out and hands me this jewlery box and already I am getting teary eyed, so I open it and inside was this GORGEOUS necklace with a stone in the middle inset in a flower design like a daisy. It was really pretty and she goes" You know what that is?" I go yea, its a necklace she goes no look at the stone. I looked closer, it is a half carat diamond in the middle of the flower. "She goes that was Mels engagement ring diamond" I just got all choked up. Mel was our GREAT friend who was 96 and was the sweetest old lady, we would go visit her every weekend and she always asked about us, and always said that when she dies she wants us to take care of her cat and love it as much as she loved it. So we promised her every saturday. Well one week we were listening to my moms police scanner and it said there was a structure fire at her address, but she lived around office buildings so we didn't think anything of it. Come to find out, her house burned down, and her and her cat died in the fire. We were DEVESTATED, she was the sweetest women. We had to clean out her house and get what was left and in her will she left my mom her diamond rings and such. So my mom made me a wedding necklace out of her wedding diamond ring. It is sooo beatiful!!!!!! I am wearing it right now and wore it when trying on my dress today, its perfect!!!

THEN, I came home and Nick handed me an envelope inside was a GENEROUS amount of money from his parents for the wedding. It was really reallly nice and sooo special. so it was avery teary and happy day.

One of the most special memories was when Jon turned to me in the limo after the ceremony and said "I have the most beautiful wife." Just him calling me his wife gave me butterflies!!

You've put so much time, planning, and thought into this special day and it will show!

Nick gets out of work around 10:00am, after that we are going to head to town to get Nick some stuff for his car, then we get our marriage license!!!, then I need to head to the paper factory to get wrapping paper for my moms present (We got her a razr phone and $300) After that we are heading to the mall to get my ring cleaned, then I am going tanning with my mom, then lunch, then getting dog food. After that we need to head home so I can clean, wrap my moms present, make a card and Nick has an interview for a State Trooper position for THREE HOURS (Good timing I know) So I am going to pack our overnight bags, get the dogs stuff together and get it by the door. Clean the house a bit more, go grocery shopping and make sure the dogs are quiet for NIck. Then my mom and Uncle are coming over for dinner and we are going to BBQ, talk about the wedding and hang out. Go to bed early and wake up early for REHEARSAL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Phew! I am tired already. hahahaha

Well last night was the worst night for sleep YET. I woke up around 1:00 Am and it was all over from there. I was awake ALL NIGHT. But I am getting out of work today around 1:00 and then I am going to go to the mall with my brothers fiance and try to find a dress to wear friday. Ahhhh! You're getting married THIS WEEKEND! Thats insane. It seems like not too long ago I was on here and you had 3 weeks left, and I told you they would fly by. Did I lie? haha i think my friend was really mad, he thought he could just sail on through eat his free food adn call it a day. NO WAY!!!! I have been friends with him forever and I love him dearly, but I have to draw the line somewhere.

I am out of work in one HOUR! Then I am going to meet my brothers fiance and her mother for lunch and then I am going to go shopping for a new dress, then meet Nick at work and then head home. SHould be a good afternoon. If only it was sunny.:cool: Hahaha

About the weather - trust me when I say - you probably won't even notice the weather. Everyone said when I entered the church, it was snowing really hard and it was absolutely beautiful! I never saw it. In fact, I never saw it snowing until we cut the cake and that's only because I had to face the window...lol - and I was surrounded by windows all day.

Your necklace story made me cry - what a sweet thing for your mom to do!

Today Nick is going to work until 11 and then we are heading to get our marriage license. After that we are headed out for a page full of errands. I am tired just thinking about it.
I woke up to 5 INCHES OF SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am SOO upset. I went to bed at 8pm because I was so upset about the snow. It is really pretty, but I wanted sun and nice. But get this, Saturday its supposed to be SUNNY. I am so happy about that.
Today my Uncle comes in around 4, the roads will be cleared and hopefully he can land on time. I just want him to get here and my dad to get here, I know I have said this a million times. haha.
Nicks sister is coming in today as well. I hope she drives safetly.

awww thanks darling. I am taking it for all its worth. I have a shirt that says "Its all about me" You had better believe i am going to wear that RIGHT NOW! hahaha. I just cleaned the whole house, cleaned the bird cage, doing laundry, cleaned the bathroom BLAH and I am going to vacum later. Nick is working until 11 and then we are off to get the Marriage License, I am SOO excited. I have been waiting for this, I have been waiting ever since I was young to get married and its finally HERE! Granted we have 5 inches of snow, but it is pretty and saturday they say SUN!!!!!!

I can not believe that TOMORROW you & I will be married ~of course not to each other.

I am in such awwww right now over everything. I woke up this morning, looked at Brian and started to cry. This was the last morning I was going to wake up next to my boyfriend. (I'm staying with all my friends/family that are here from out of town tonight) He of course thought I was a dork but just told me how much he loved me anyway!

I can not wait to hear all about you wedding day with Nick. Believe it or not, meeting you on here was such an awesome thing. You have pulled me through this more than you can imange or more than I could thank you for!

We are way too much alike.... WE are marrying wonderful men tomorrow, our tastes are very similiar, we both started having panic attacks again b/c of the wedding, one of our family members have been out of our lives for a long time and are back & sharing this day with us.....how wonderful!
