I'm not sure what to think of this game! The concept of revenge is ok, but I don't like the begining of it! I don't know if I feel like this game is offensive or what. Let me know what u think about them making a game of this.

I'm not sure offensive is the word. But I do understand why it makes you feel uncomfortable.

Frankly, I don't approve of it at all. You can't take revenge on a fish for some freak accident. Steve Irwin died doing what he loved...you can't fault a poor frightened animal for that. Killing stingrays doesn't balance out any cosmic scales of justice.

And I doubt Steve Irwin's friends or family would approve since they've made public appeals for the safety of stingrays. I found the following quote from an Australian newspaper:

DPA quotes Michael Hornby, executive director of Irwin's Australia Zoo at Beerwah as saying, "We just want to make it very clear that we won't accept, or stand for anyone who's taken a form of retribution."
"That's the last thing Steve would want. I hope everyone understands we have to protect wildlife now more than ever. This is what Steve was all about."

But, on the flipside...as much as I don't like it...I'd rather have people killing stingrays electronically and not in real life.

It's offensive, I watched the memorial service they had at the Aussie Zoo...his whole life was dedicated to protecting and he would never approve of this sort of thing even as a joke IMO. His wife and kids were so strong and yet so broken, sad sad thing. God rest his soul.

I don't have much of an opinion, it's just a game and a pretty simple, low budget one at that. It's not real, the graphics aren't that great and that is part of freedom of expression, if you don't like it then don't play it.

Honestly, I think it is really stupid.
I know there are people in the world who find his death amusing and ironic, and would find this game funny. But honestly it's sad.
I don't feel the game is appropriate.

I think that it is immature and stupid and offensive, but I will just choose to not play it. They have the freedom to choose to make something that stupid, and I have the freedom to choose to not play it.

It's offfensive. Mostly because it's everything that he would not want.

I agree ... I think it is kind of dumb, but it is just a game.

I have heard worse jokes about his death.

It's just a lousy way for someone to make a name for themselves, if they even get credit for it.

the only thing offensive about this is that people are really taking revenge on stingrays, it was a fluke that this happened and people for some reason are hurting and killing the stingrays for no reason, it is just a shame that this is happening.

That stingray was just trying to protect himself, just like nature provided him to do. He had no fricking idea that he killed Steve Irwin! Geez!!! Some people just need a brain!!! :bbconfused:
