Okay this is pretty funny even if you don't exactly agree with it. Justin just e-mailed it to me!

Due to the popularity of the "Survivor" shows, Texas is
planning to do one entitled, "Survivor, Texas-Style." The
contestants will all start in
Dallas, then drive to Waco, Austin, San Antonio, over to
Houston and down to
Brownsville. They will then proceed up to Del Rio, El Paso,
Midland, Odessa,
Lubbock and Amarillo.

From there they will go on to Abilene, Fort Worth and
finally back to Dallas.

Each will be driving a pink Volvo with bumper stickers
that read: >

"I Love the Dixie Chicks"
"Boycott Beef"
"I Voted for John Kerry"
"George Strait Sucks"
"Hillary in 2008"
"I'm here to confiscate your guns."
The first one to make it back to Dallas alive wins.

Awww, I can't edit the title! I misspelled survivor. Please forgive me!

That's cute!!! Most of those bumper stickers would not apply to me, but I still don't think that a lot of my left-wing liberal views would be appreciated by Texans....lol, but I still think that that is funny!!!

True, we are a very right winged state!!! Good for me because so I am!!! But I think all jokes are in good fun. I have been reading a few today-some about Democrats, some about Republicans. They are just jokes and I laugh at both sides of them!

I hope everyone doesn't think I'm not taking it as a joke!! :grinhappy:

I am.. I get it.. I just think that it promotes the "Texan" stereotype.... though that's what a lot of jokes go on........ :gurn:

I guess I'm just illustrating that not all Texans are that way. ;)

You know we love you Carrie. What fun would the world be if everyone was the same and everyone had the same view? That would be just boring now wouldn't it!

....For the first ten minutes.....:D

I'm glad we're all different. In fact I was just telling my Mom earlier that as I've gotten older, my since of humor has really changed (i.e. DRIED UP!) and I get all the jokes that people make......I just don't think that they're funny. :ooh:

I guess I'm a 22 year old fuddy duddy. :snide:

I had one on my first truck that said..."Don't like my driving? Call 1-800-EAT-S**T!" How stupid is that???

I have one on my fridge that says "High Maintenance Cowgirl"!
