Hello!
I'm so happy to find a forum like this for wedding planning! I used one before, but it was shut down and I was sad by it. I love posting about wedding planning and reading others' wedding plans. People have such great ideas about what to do to make the look and feel I want for my wedding day.
About my day:
I will be married on April 21, 2007 to a wonderful man named Mr. Liberty. We are going to be married in a medium-sized Christian church in our new hometown. (It's fairly close to each of our old hometowns which are each fairly close.) Our reception will be at a local community club and we are doing the catering ourselves! Our feast includes deli sandwiches and a taco bar (to represent my Mexican heritage!). We have already hired a florist, photographer and bartender. We've purchased a wedding gown and put a deposit on a tux for him. We're working on the rest of the details as we go. My mother, though she is a momzilla at times, is great with helping to plan our wedding. We will each have three attendants, there will be 2 ushers, a ring bearer and flower girl, and 2 pages - my little brothers. We will have 2 readings read - one from the Bhagavad Gita and one sonnet from Pablo Neruda. Hmm... I can't think of any other details for an intro post.
