I figured making a jouranal might be a good idea and give me some momntum to keep goign with all of these planning details. From this day we have 366 days left till our big day.
Kevin and I only dated a year and a bit before he proposed to me. We met off of the internet and had a few wonderful dates and it turned into a beautiful relationship.
I think it was when Kevin went away to his parents cottage for a week that I really gave me a chance to think about us. It was then that I realized how much I missed him and it almost hurt knowing that I couldn't see him for a week. Once he got back we had a cuddly night on the couch and he held me very close and whispered in my ear "Lindsey I love you". I rememebr there being able to feel my hearbeat in my throat and I could barely get out "I love you too".

A few weeks later I went to my cottage and I sat down with my grandmother at the picnic bench and told her I had met the man I was going to marry.
a year after that we're engaged!!!

Our wedding will take place at the Centennial College Residence (a former howard johnsons). My bride's maids will be in pink with lillies and the men in black tuxedo's. We have yet to see exactly what we want to do but it's good enought to dream for now!!!

Our first purchase as an engaged couple was our cake topper. $21.00 Canadian from the Disneystore online. We bought it during a 4th of July sale.
I'm a HUGE Disney buff, Kev not so much but he'll get used to it lol

Kev and I begin to take some pics for our invites while the weather is still holding up. Here's what we have so far:

This is the general idea that we have fr our invites so far. Obviously the diff will be Kev and my pic instead of this couples lol.

Thursday September 14th 2006 (366 days till the wedding)

Well last night Kevin and I met with our officient Rev. Davies. He's the sweetest little man ever. He's almost 80 and he's a little old Welsh man. The stuff that he coems out with is too funny. He just starts to ramble and it can't help but brign a smile to you face when he starts up.
It was the first time Kevin had ever met him and he feel in love with him instantly.
He gave us the pamphlets on marriage which made me laugh, it had all the info about weddinfs on it and what happends durign a ceremony. Some of the wonderful ideas the man has are things that I could have never thought of and I have never seen in a wedding.
We decided to do something called "the presentation of the roses". KEv and I will each have a long stemmed red rose and we will exchange them and take eachothers to our families, then it will come all the way around to Jamie (Kev's daughter). I want to include her as much as possible, but I also don't want to confuse her as she does have a mother and I don't want her thinking that I'm going to be replacing her by any means.
Our minister will be going out of the country and hopefully by the time he returns we wil have more to talk to him about and a set site aswell!!!

When Kev and I were at the weddign show we went to the invitation area and asked some question about what it was we were looking at. To have our invitations doen by them the way we want it, it would be $5 per invite at 100 (a lot of the people we're inviting are coming solo, i have no idea why!) So that's $500!!! Yes I can do math! So yesterday we went ovwer o Staples Buisness depot just to talk prices for printing with them. We found out that we can do 2 invites per page for $.28/ page. Needless to say we've been jumping up and down ever since. We think that we can pull off these invites (not including postage) for $70!!!! It was news to our ears. It just shows you that if your willing to work a little you can save the cash!
Plus I'm very lucky to have such an awesome bridal party who can't wait to get down to the arts and crafts projects with me.

The invites will consist of : card stock with a glossy side, vellum or traslucents paper, and ribbon.

Kev and I set off for pictures for our invites today at the park. We kidnapped my Mommy as our photographer and made an attempt to look happy and awake on a Sunday morning .

We came across a quite little water fall and creek and did our pics there. I got a few with my camera then we switched over to Kev's when my batteries went dead. We got some fabulous ones on Kev's aswell. We get home to download them, put Kev's SD into the computer, there was a file error, we tried to retry and all the pics were GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thankfully we had some good ones on mine but still!!!!!!!!!! We have no idea what happend. I guess it's just a moment of our wedding planning that we'll be able to laugh at one day right?! It's just, 22 pics GONE!!!
Ah well we got some!

Well we were suppose to go the the Niagara falls bridal show tomorrow, but now I have Pneumonia and that's not gonna happen. I haven't doen anything wedding related in a little while and it's starting to make me feel unorganized.
Although Monday at 6pm we'll be meeting with the hall coordinator to finally book it. He's been taking his sweet time in getting back to us which has already made me PO-ed cause we're spending this much money I should have to be the one trying to tack him down right? But at the same time it's a great deala nd I don't want to loose out on such a great space.
I think I'll be spending my sic time on the couch looking at wedding mags. So don't be surprised if I start goign a little coo coo and poasting a bunch of stuff with questions on what I read lol.
As well, I'm still waiting to here from my futire inlaws on whether or not they plan to help us out by making the wine. They have yet to e-mail us or call us and that usually means 1 thing. If that's the case I may flip out.

:D Well tonight at 6pm we headed out to the Centennial College Residence here in Toronto, and by 8pm we sealed the deal... WE'RE BOOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't get over how easy and wonderful it all was. Plus it was A LOT cheaper then originally expected.
We will be having our ceremony in the Atium, then off the guests go to a waiting area for about an hour where they will be munching away on food and drinks and all of that. The room we will be using is a 3 part room with the sliding doors. 2 of the rooms will be wide open and the thirs will be open as a doorway and used as a lounge with the bar and an area for guests who aren't interested in the music or who just want to chat with other guests.
They are welcome to us bring our own hors durves (can't spell it lol) for no extra charge and for bringing in anything we want for that matter. A PA, stero system will be provided for the ceremony aswell as a power point for the entire day.
Plus to top things off, because I'm a graduate from the collge I got 25% off EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
It was just wonderful. I was going to take pics but they were setting up for another event and it just didn't look all that great, but next time I go I'll get camera happy I promise! It's going to be gorgillious, Kev and I couldn't be happier!

Well our stress levels are building and there is still like 11 months till our big day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reality has finally set in that I will need to pay for on my own: photographer, DJ, Minister, Limo, Attendants gifts, All the decorations, and 1/3 of the reception.
On top of that I'm getting al sorts of different answers from vendors. I want to know about limo's! I started a thread about limo questionsand I just hope you girls can ease my head a little.
There are 10 of us in the party and it's just to big for so many of the limo companies. GRRRRRR!
I'm contemplaiting on begging my some what asstranged father for cash. Just to pay for one of these things to help my load a little. I HATE to ask for money but I'm already working 2 jobs (one that I just got half my hours cut at) and I think I'm gonna have to find a 3rd job.
Come anything this wedding will happen! And it will be as I want it to be and have dreamed about (obviously with cheaper ideas) but my goodness it's crazy! I'll be bald or grey by Aug and I'm only 23! AHHHHHHHHHHHH:bbeek:

Jopet

LOL lindsay, deep breaths girl :D, Sorry I can't help ya out with the limo's but I can say I know what you mean by coming to the realisation of how much everything is going to cost, it's going to be hard but I am sure we will both get there.

We started a new registry today!!! We're now registered at Canadian Tire aswell as Home Outfitters and The Bay.
Canadian Tire was originally a "man's dream store" with power tools, automotive and house keeping supplies. Now it's got just about everything! Things right from Automotive, to kitchen wares in brand names liek kitchen aid, cuisinart, and so much more!
We actually picked out our plate sets too!!!! I was shocked that I'm getting them at Canadian Tire of all places, but wowzer they were just too nice to pass up!
This is one of our sets it's called Tantric Red by Debbie Travis:
http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k277/blondisma/0422264_450_CC_54687.jpg
Of course Kev had to skeem his way in to getting some power tools out of it too. He begged for a drill because it will be handy once we have a place together. If that's what will keep him happy I'll do it!
What Canadian tire offers is just fabulus!!! For those of you living in Canada I would totally tell you to check it out! If you don't want to put all massivly expensive gifts on your reg. check it out!!! The Debbie Travis line is to die for!

HalloweenBride
10-02-2006, 12:42 AM
that is so funny that he wanted a drill, Steve wanted a electric shaver, energy drinks, and Beavis and Butthead DVDs, so we added all of those to our target registry! I figure if we don't get any of those, I know what to get him for christmas anyway! :grinhappy:

So it seems like we probably have our limo for the wedding. After all the frusterations I think we've got it! I never thought havign a big bridal party would cause all this stress. then again I didn't think I just decided who I wanted didn't even think about numbers.
But today when i got hoem from work i hopped online and found a company called quality limousines. They quoted me $110 and hour, so $360 for what we need + gratuity. Now if I say that's a WHOLE LOT better then the $1399 I was quoted this morning when i woke up. What a way to wake up eh? lol
Just keep your fingers crossed for me that it will actually work as planned!!!

I would like to start introducing you to my wedding party so here is thread #1 of a few more to come. I need to get there pics on the computer (or sneak them off of there sites, they all hate pics of themselves!)

This is Ange and Joe. Both will be in my wedding party as an usher and as a BM.
Ange and I have known eachother for about 7 years now. She's my unofficial big sister! As an only child this is easy to say but to mean it is totally different.

Ange is ALWAYS there for the good and the bad. Every celebration I have ever had Ange has been there. Joe and she were recently married (Aug 27 2006). Joe is a big teddy bear! I couldn't imagine a better or sweeter man for my big sis!

This is Kiersten and her brother Blake. Both are my cousins. I am closest to these 2 out of all my cousins. I've always played the role of the eldest sibling.
Kiersten is on a missin right now to get swiming scholarship to a university in the US. She's VERY FAST!!!!!!!!! Look for her in the next olympics!
Blake we call "monster". Ever since he was a kid he's been a monster! He's 13 and unbelivably excited about the wedding! He's on a missiont o wear an orange tux!

Here is our newest installemtn of our wedding spendings. I was surfing around the net and ended up at the disney store online (as usual). I always take a look at the wedding area.
I found this for $9.99 regualr price $39.99 How could I go wrong? Plus it's disney and well that says it all!

I called Kev who is on his way up North for Thanksgiving to let him know that I was buying it, and the phoen must have cut out when I said pillow cause all he heard was I was ording our ring______ from the disney store. I couldn't understand when he stated telling me there was no way and blah blah blah. Then I repeated myself and it was all good lol. Gotta love those cell phones!
My soon to be Nephew will be carryign this down the aisle. We'll embroider our names onto it soemwhere. I do a lot of that kinda thing myself so it won't be a problem. I just thought it was too cute!

http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k277/blondisma/reducepic.jpg

I know this looks sillym but these stuffed animals are super duper imortant to me!!! I gave Kevin a "wish Bear" care bear for his birthday the first year we celebrated. He gave this to me a while later. I had cancer a coule of years before we met. Since then I have been going through numerous surgeries to keep my reproductive system in check. It means I spend a lot of time in bed at tiems, and Kev couldn't alsways be tehre with me. He and Jamie picked out this little lamb for me so I could cuddle with it and thenk of them. It NEVER leaves my bed!!!!! Aside from when the doggies are roaring around and I don't want it mixed in with their stuffed animals, thus why in this pic it's on my dresser.

My Grandfather had his 70th birthday in August of this year and it was the first time we had seen all the family and friends since we got engaged so without stealing his thunder it was written in small print "kev and Linds engaged!" It was so exciting to tell al our friends and loved ones about our news!!!

Well I just got off of the phoen with some family members I have in BC. We had a falling out about 7 years ago and it wasn't until this past new years day that we recieved a phone call from my aunt who said she wanted to mend all fences as we're family and we should be sticking together through thick and thin. We aagreed whole heartedly and it was water under the bridge.
I realized that I hadn't called them to tell them about the engagment (a little late, 3 months oops!) I was just expecting them to say congrats and chat a little about what's new and exciting. It turns out that there goign to fly down for the wedding. I was in shock!!! I am extatic! When I was a kid we used to go to Calgary and BC to visit them. They used to live on a farm in BC and my cousin was into aquestrian so I used to love playing with the horses and in general they were my favorite family members. I remember balling my eyes out when it was time to leave them.
So there we are, another 2 to add to my list. It's just so very nice to know that someone loves you that much to come all the way to the other side of the country (almost) just to see you walk down the aisle!
As I posted befre my sister and her husband live in BC and wil also be joining us for the wedding! That's 4 from BC, 4 from Iceland, 4 from the US. Now these Torontonians can't have too much of an excuse if these people are all coming in! Not to mention most of Kevin's family lives in Englang adn there coming too!

Well I think I have finally convinced the guys that pink is the new black lol. They've decided that they want to wear black on black (which i think is great), But I draw the line on the black ties with the black shirt, with the black tux. I don't want them to look like shadows! So I've decided that there goign to be wearing pink ties. Like the flashy Regis Filbin look.
But on the other hand, I'm thinkign tha maybe the ushers should wear a silver tie. Like crome silver. I don't know, Kevin's tryign to keep my in suspense but I really wanna know everything!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Does that sound liek a good idea? Or should they all be in pink? Silver is oen of my accent colours.

Last night I finally got my nice chill night with my MOH and was able to show her all of my ideas and what not.
AS I mentioned before she's actually a party planner. She worked as the event co-ordinator for the office of the prime minister so I don't think putting together a litttle wedding will be too much on her.
She just started a new job and her hours have ben killer so we've only been communicating via e-mail, text msg's, and quick phone chats.
She really is a stress reliever I swear! She just knows the rigth questions and she's good at figuring out all of those little aspects for me. The little tid bits that make me crazy!
When she was in college she actually worked at the facility I'm having my wedding at as an event planner. It just all fits together so nicely.
She did voice her one and only concern though.. her dress. Let me try and put this in a certain way... She is well endowed in the thorasic region! lol But if her only concern is popping out and giving everyoen a show at the ceremony that's the least of our concerns! lol

That's great that you have such a wonderful MOH. About her dress, I have the same problem. There are some clothes that girls like us just cannot wear. For instance, I have not worn anything strapless since I was about 12. It can be hard, especially if you are not very big anywhere else.

That's great that you have such a wonderful MOH. About her dress, I have the same problem. There are some clothes that girls like us just cannot wear. For instance, I have not worn anything strapless since I was about 12. It can be hard, especially if you are not very big anywhere else.
I get the issue too! My chest has never fit the rest of my body. During my girlfriends wedding this summer I had this little old Italian wedding come up to me after the church and say "Oh Bella! You have the bobbies for the whole party!" It cracked everyone around me up.
I'll be nice to her lol, I won't make her wear anything rediculous. I have no idea where she got the idea that I said that we were wearing strappless and backless. I wouldn't do that to my girls! Most of them either have something or a lot of something and a few with nothing. I want them all to be comfy.

Well I've been waiting for my pillow to arrive at my dad's place in Connecticut. I checked the link I was given from Disney online for tracking the shipment. It shows the path then it says "arrived". So I msged my Dad and asked him if he had gotten it. Which apparently he hasn't!!! So I called Fedex. The tracking # I was given doesn't exist! I was like HELLLLLLLLO! I tracked it over the disneystore shipping with that number and now it doesn't exist. And if it goes missing fedex refuses to do anything. In fact, when I said what will be done they said "that's not our problem mamn." The disneystore on the other hand will send me another one free of charge but that's not the point. I order something online with my creditcard and I wanna know what's up.
I'm sending my Dad over to the Easton poast office today to see if maybe just maybe it got dropped there.
But the rudness of fedex will not soon be forgotten. The sentence, "That's not our problem" will stay with me!

ahh sorry about the rude Fedex guy. I hope that you get your pillow soon. I'm still anxiously awaiting for my engagement pictures to arrive!! They aren't late or anything we got them taken a little over a week ago... but im still anxious!!

I hope all is going well!!

My Dad e-mailed me today to tell me that my ring bearer pillow has finally arrived at his place. According to Disney it was shipping fedex and even gave me the tracking number and blah blah blah. Well isn't that odd as it arrived today in the regular snail mail!
Don't get me wrong, I'm extatic it was found and so on, but I don't appreciate being lied to by a company like that.
It's here, I'm happy, but the disney store will still be getting a phone call from me in the morning!!!!!

We've been looking around for a photographer and are havign a really tough time as it's so expensive. The prices we have found are not only out of our price range but are just not possible for us to pay, we literally will not have enough cash for it.
My girlfriend just graduated from a University here in Toronto that has an excellent photography and visual arts department. She mentioned that quite often they have flyers posted in the photography lounge for certain events, models needed or photographers needed. She figures that I would be able to get a photographer for next to nothing, possibly only the cost for their portfolio. I would never jump into anything blind sighted but at the same time I would love to save the money and in the long run those who would answer my add would probably be those who would want to boast their work.
I'm gonna post up and ad, see what happends and take a look at some portfolio's.
Have any of you ever done this?

HalloweenBride
10-23-2006, 11:52 PM
It could work. Just make sure you have seen their portfolios (as in, someone who does wonderful childrens photos, might not be as good at weddings). Ask for referrals. Ask for an engagement session and see if you like those. I am a photographer, and before I go "pro" on my own, I use people the offer to be models for my portfolio in exchange for free photos. good luck!

I didn't hire a student. But we did have a student intern who was working with our photographer on our wedding day. He was great!
I think it would definatly be worth contacting the program co-ordinator at some schools that have a photography program to see if they have any students they would recomend. They may also make an announcement in class that there is a job oppertunity and pass on some names of people interested in it to you. If they come recommended by their profs and have a good portfolio it may definatly be a great way to save a bit of money and get some great pictures!

Both of you are 100% right. I'm not just gonna pick up some kid and say "ok take a picture." I deffinetly plan to invest a lot of time in this. My hope is to find a student who is so dedicated to the art of photography and really wants to gain the experience and add to his/her portfolio. I just printed out my ads to habg at a few schools. I'm only going to give my e-mail for now, as I really don't want a bunch of university students calling me.
Cross your fingers ladies!

I think using a college student for your photos is a great idea as long as you do your research. I am a communication minor and the photography department is in the same building. Their work is often up on the walls and there are some beautiful photos there.

I have just recieved a quote for limousine for 4 hours, photography for the day and a DJ for $1953.40. I'm still hoping to find a student photographer though but I'm really torn right now, as I'm not sure I could get all of what they are offering me from a student. Plus this is a pretty big company so I know I have soem security.

photography:
-The Ceremony
-Park or Greenhouse
-Reception
-150 (5 x 7) pictures
-1 (16 x 20)
-5 (8 x10)
-100 Thank you card
-Wedding Album For (5 X 7)
= for $799

Limousine:
-4 hours service
-2003 model
-seats 10 passengers
=$400

DJ:
-Digital sound system
-Wide variety of music including ethnic
-Free meet and greet consultation with your DJ
-Two exciting lighting effects
-7 hours of play time

I'm thinking this is a good deal but I truly have no idea. If any of you have added this and are unsure why it's priced higher in my total it's because I had to ad 6% tax.

Kev and I have set the date of November 6th to go and speak with this productions company. It's called Babylon productions. I'm a little scepticle of the prices but it won't hurt to go and see what they have to offer.
I have had a few billion students reply so I'm going to meet with them all individually aswell.

I think in some ways u may benefit from having a student, they are likely to be full of new ideas and very enthusiastic. Some of the work from our Uni's media department are fabulous. Before i get shouted at im not saying that photographers who have been working for years dont have this but it maybe a plus side in hiring a student.
Congrats on kevin moving in too lol (commiserations on having to sort closet out tho!) xxx

I got a response from what seems to be an awesome photography student. She's VERY into photography and just seems very interested.
She wants to meet up first which is BIG TIME important in my books, so I can see what she's all about and her portfolio. When we go over she wants to give us engagment pics, just as a thank you for considering her.
If she does our wedding it will only cost us $120 plus developing. But WOW!!!
She's willing to give us an all day shoot too, with all the bells and whistes and a friend photographer of hers in the business to help her out. She also has a videographer with her to do a slide show for us at no extra charge.
November as a whole will eb a mess so I suggested to her tha we meet in December, so I'll have to see what happends.
This is a HUGE stress relief right here!

Well with the Christmas season starting to emerge so do the sale prices in various stores. Kevin and I are plannign to spend the next 2 months looking into home stores to try and find the centre pieces for the wedding.
What we know for the centre pieces is that we don't want your average vase filled with flowers. We've never been the average couple and our centrepiece should reflect that.
We're hoping to find almost a fish bowl look and fill it with submerged hydrangeas or something along those lines. I think that once we find the glass bowls we'll be able to get our idea from there.
I know it seems quite early but realistically now is the tiem to look as all the arehouses are having their sales and this is the last big holiday for savings up here. I'm sure there will eb ones but I'm going to make my life easier and try and find soem liquidated ones.
So far I've seen what I wanted but there like $17 and I need 12 of them. that's just not feasable!!!
I'm sure I'll be able to find them but it's going to take a little bit of hunting to get what we need.
If anyone has seen abstract vases or spherical ones for cheap please let me know!!!

I spoke with my student photographer last night and we're ready to roll with an appointment. Before I ge so unbelivable excited (too late btw) I need to meet with the student and see her portfolio. She seems ver into her work from what she has said and Kev and I have made arrangments to get going on this in early December. I was hoping to do it this month, but we ran into a little set back with him moving in with me. It turns out that his land loard needs 60 days notice not 30. It kinda sucks but gives me a little more time to get my but in gear. However that means we had to postpone our appt with the photographer to a later date.

I was actually telling Kevin that the other day. When we got engaged we had 14 months till our wedding day, and now it seems like it happend yesterday. That makes em nervous, as there is so much to be done and ahhhhhhhh so little time! It seems liek everytime we're gearing up to do something for the wedding something major happends and we have to put things on hold. Thankfully I'm persistant. We'd be getting married in 2088 if Kevinw a planning things. lol

I'm just exhausted! I'm running on empty now and it's starting to take it toll. I've even gotten sick from all of this.
Kevin has been going through a nasty custody battle which was finally resolved last week after 6 months of fighting. And now I have all of these craft sales and hobby shows popping up that I was apparently not ready for but after staying up all week till 2 am, waking up at 5am and going to work I have manageged to get a bunch of pieces done.
Kev's moving in date got bumped back by a couple of months. Not that I don't love him dearly and would love to move in with him things just aren't ready for him here yet. A room for Jamie needs to be cleaned out and painted, and my bedroom hahaha lets just say I'm a pack rat!
I leave fior Buffalo next weekend for a christmas shopping extravaganza, and I'm trying to plan a wedding on top of it all!
I was at the oncologist yesterday and it turns out that I'm in need to go in for some nasty surgery and that has to be done pretty quick so Dec 4th I go under the knife.
Is there anything else? It doesn't rain it pours! To just put the cherry on top Kev's sick now too, so I'm running solo on all of this.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Well she was trying to be a bit of a moron. I know that the opposing side says that but even her lawyer told her to use her head. All we wanted was joint custody and to have her stop sendign us her personal bills. Everything is organized now and that's the most important thing. and everything is all in writing no goign back saying "you said" or anything. Plus Kev and I just wanted things all organized for Jamie's sake. His ex was pulling her into things and telling her stuff and just completly wrong for a child. she shouldn't even know about this not to mention details. She's 5 oh my god!

I'm finally goign to go and try on wedding dresses today! I'm not going to buy one today, I'm going to look at styles that I might like and if I find one I'm gonan look it al up online and see what kind of deal I can find. But mostly I just wanna see what styles suit me and which ones don't. I'm bringing oen of my bride's maids Ange with me cause I know she's brutally honest and won't try to be a "yes man".
Seeing that her wedding was in August she's still in the loop and I figuredshe would be more help then anyone as she knows what it's like.
I think today the reality of "I'M GETTING MARRIED!" will hit me. It does every now and then but I think today will be the major reality check. I'm really excited, but at the same time nervous for some reason. I'm scared that I won't find anything or nothing will look nice, I'm just freaked about that.
Once I get back I'll tell you all how it went! Wish me luck!

I have returned from looking at dresses and I think I have found it!!!!!! The store I was in said no pictures, but because of the little changes I need to make to it, you wouldn't get the whole picture anyway. It's made by Venus and it's style #5267, It has this UGLY flower on it, but that can be ordered without it so that makes me feel better. I can't find the picture of it online either and it's making me crazy cause I want to. It's one of the newer dresses so the website doesn't have it yet.
I discovered that I like a sweetheart neckline too, with a dropped waist. I'm very excited. The store I went to has it for $750. I'll have to see what happends, I'll keep you all posted.

Oh I can't wait to see some pictures :) that stinks that they wouldn't let you take pictures. I think that is so dumb. I told all of the places where I went, that if I couldn't take pictures I was not even trying on any of their dresses because I was going several places, and unless I could take pictures to remember them by and to remember it, then it wasn't worth my time because I would never remember it anyways... needless to say I took pictures at all of the places :)

I am glad you found the one that you love! I also have a sweetheart neckline and drop waist

I finally got a pic of the dress!!!
I e-mail Venus and begged for a pic of the dress and here's the response I got...
"
Corset style gown with an A-line skirt and a cathedral length train. The bodice features a lace up back and a delicate beaded pattern around the sweetheart neckline, and it is finished with spaghetti straps and an asymmetrical organza triple fold. The skirt has an organza overlay that is pined to one side and embellished with a silk flower cluster. Matching shawl.
The reason the store wouldn't let you take a picture is that this is an "exclusive" gown.
What that term means is that you have chosen well! This dress is very hard to obtain. Not just anyone (stores included) can buy it. It's from a restricted line and thus the reason that they guard pictures being taken etc...They probably don't want someone to try to copy the gown. I'm really not even supposed to send you a picture unless you've purchased it, but I do understand wanting to share it with family and friends. So shhhhhhh.....our secret ok?"

I guess I failed that eh? lol

Before you look please remember... The flowers gonna GO!!!!!!!! The flowers an option, and I'm opting for NOOOOOOOOOO! Also, it has removable straps.

http://www.viicollection.com/styleDetail.aspx?code=vt084

I'm sorry ladies that I couldn't save pic but you'll see when you click on the link that I would only get one of the pics and there are 3 on the site.

Kev and I started out last night at the "Dansk" factory sale. They had some good stuff, just not what I was looking for. There was 2 ladis behind us and they were talking about hitting up IKEA next (it's a 2 min drive from there) to see what they had. Minutes later the PA came on and it said the factory was closed. Walkign to the car I asked Kev if he wanted to hit up IKEA while we were there just to see what they had. This isn't unusual for me, I could live in IKEA!!!
So we wondered in and cut through to the table wears and kitchen wears. In the middle of the room was a crate witha sign hanging above saying "glass vases (and some IKEA word) $1.99 SALE". Needless to say they were prefect for what I want to do!!!!!!!!!!! So we grabbed 17 of them just incase, cause we only need 13.
I've been wanting to get mirors for under them so I've decided to go to Home Depot and buy a package of the square foot mirrors that are tiles for the wall. It's a perfect size and I'll save a bundle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It really feels liek things are coming together.

I just wanted you ladies to see what we're thinking about for our BM gowns.
It's from the Alfred Angelo 2007 collection. 2 of my 4 have chosen this one. I can't belive 2 of them even agreed and I have another one you said "the first one" and I think they mean this one too.
http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k277/blondisma/6455.jpg
I still want it to eb a little lighter pink. The colour shown here is "tea rose" and there is an even lighter pink caled just that "pink" lol.
I think it's really different and they could still wear gloves with it or not whatever. I just think it's pretty cool. Plus those of my bridal party who are "well-endowed" could wear it too without feeling like they're gonna pop right out there.
I still want to check the price tag on this dress. I don' want my girls feeling that they need to pay a ton of cash for their dresses. I went through that in the summer for my friends wedding and it was hard to come up witht he cash.
What do you guys think?

Here is our vase's that we will be using as our centre pieces. It will be sitting on a square (1 foot square) mirror with 4 candles on each edge. Inside the vase there will be 2 submerged hydrangeas in water. To make the edges bead I'll be adding sparkling water.
Each centre piece will only cost me about $5!!!!!!!!! I'm a budget woman!!!

Well ladies, I bought my dress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took pics too, but between the down pour of rain, the lighting in there, and the fact that I spent the previous 8 hours running after rug rats I look like S**T!!!!!!!! I've never been so ewwwwww about how I look in my life, so please please please bare with me here. Plus it's wayyyyyyyy big in the chest and just looks like poop cause they didn't gether it all up this time like they did when I tried it and made it look to fit me. Figures when I actualy take pics eh? So I will post these pics but simply because I'm nice.
Plus... The flower REALLY stands out in this pic, and for some reason I don't have many without the straps, odd eh?

I was away this weekend when my ex step mom came up from Connecticut to drop off our cake topper and ring bearer pillow. I'm so excited that I finally get to see them in person. Ordering was easy but getting them in my hands has been a bit of a mission. Once I get them in my paws I'll take soem pics of what they look like in comparission to what the ad shows them to look like. and the size and all that stuff.
It's just nice when I get "tick" something else off of the list! One lass thing to loose sleep over.

So I have 3 bridesmaids and a maid of honour. Everything has been just peachy since I picked them. But I knew it couldn't be perfect forever. As I posted the pic of before the possible choice for a BM dress for the wedding. 2 of my BM and my MOH all love it and are game to go and try it on. My 3rd BM who is my cousin and we've been so close to me growing up she could be my sister doesn't like it. If there was a reason sure, but there isn't.I have taken into consideration possible choices for them not to like it or unable to wear it and I have thought that:

strapless- I think it looks great, and anyone can wear it boobs or no boobs, Empire cut- if you do or don't have hips or a tummy it'll hide it all, and the skirt cut- it's different yet ellegant.

Basically witht he colour I'm going to choose I don't see why they couldn't wear it to another occasion that's formal cause it's not the typical BM dress.
Well she came to me this weekend and I asked her what she thought and i told her what the other girls did and she's a no go for it. She wants all of them to wear seperates because her neighbours daughter did that and somebody told ehr how good it looked. Well if none of them had coem to a conclusion then maybe, but 3 out of 4 choose a dress TFB it's nice you'll wear it. She's 17 and thinks the world is revolving around her right now. I'm PRAYING it's a faise but you never know.
January is when they need to go try stuff on and I'm not gonna deal with anyone getting moody. I'm an upbeat person and perky, I'm not gonna let one of them get crusty and bring the rest of them down. Just not happening!!!!!

Thank you very much ladies!!! That's really sweet of you. I just can't wait to have my dress come in and have all the alterations done and what not. My Mom got lucky with that too, she got any alterations needed done for free because I got my dress there.
The place I ordered my dress from is this little bridal boutique in the middle of an industrial area. they were just so sweet. At one point when I first tried it I had 5 little Chinese ladies grabbing different parts so I could see it properly. It was such a nice expereince. Plus they didn't try to force anything on me. If it didn't look good thay told me "not for you, try another one."

I finally have my cake topper and my ring bearer pillow in my hands!!!! They've been pretty much all over the US from eprson to person and have been lost in travel but there finally with me and they won't be lost.
My cake topper is a lot bigger then I thought it was going to be! That's not a bad thing just a suprise. And the pillow is all in silks, and from the pic on the site I thought it looked almost canvasy another good suprise.
So I took pics of them from here. I know you have seen the site pics I posted butthings can look different when you get them, but they're just as cute as I was hoping.

I just got a call from my MOH who works for a trade show company. We've been looking into getting curtains for the back wall behind the head table to cover up a big ugly door and to just make the room nicer. This was looking like it was going to be pretty expensive, but luckily Emily came to the rescue!!
One of her close friends at work is in charge of the set up and props for the trade show and that includes curtains!!!
We won't be able to get them set up for us as itr's a union matter, but how hard can it be plus Emily knows how to do it. So for free we're getting our back drop curtains!!! That's a big breath of fresh air!

So sorry your going through this I unfortunelly went through the same thing with my girls, Every time I would get 2 to agree the other two wouldn't agree. It was horrible. Thankfully after going shopping to all the bridal boutiques around the surrounding area where I live they finally all agreeed on 1 dress that I to liked. everything was going great they have to order their dresses at the end of Dec. well I thought everything was going great until the day after we found THE DRESS for them. My MOH told me that since noone else could try it on b/c of the size of the dress that 2 of my BM's boobs are too big. I was like OMG not again, she has done nothing but complain about the dress since then. I have been physically sick over the whole ordeal I finally told her LISTEN if you really don't like the dress that much then maybe you should step down, this is the dress that we are going with, you were fine with it on the day. You were also told that you could get a little different style then the rest of the girls and you chose to wear the same as them. She said she will just deal with it for the day. I really don't see anything wrong with the dress. NO it's not your typical BM's dress and I think that is why I liked it so much. Anyway enough of me babbling I hope that once you all go and look at the dresses it will all work out in the end. These BM's have to remember just like a wedding dress sometimes they look different on the person then they do on the model and they can be altered a little to fit you proper in the right spots best of luck to you..

I just love your cake top and your RB pillow by the way...

So I've finally deligated Kevin some wedding tasks. My life is pretty overwhelming right now with an upcoming surgery and Kevin moving in, I had to give him some stuff to do, lets just all pray that he doesn't procrastinate away these tasks.
I have found him the DJ's to negotiate with, so he needs to call them tonight. And as I did months ago, I gave him the number for the limo company AGAIN!
So many people think it's so early and blah blah blah. They've obviouly never been married in Toronto. Everything books up so quickly around here.
Lets just hope he gets some of this done, and not 6 months from now! Don't get me wrong I love the man to death, but he's a very good procrastinator.

So Kev's Mom called us last night to say that for our christmas presents she's going to look on our registry. She actualy might believe a wedding is being planned! There are a few things that Kev and I need super bad for the wedding, I just hope she doesn't get us one of the "cheaper" things on here. I'm not saying I want her to spend a bundle, but those gifts I'm hoping can be used for those of our friends and family who don't have any money. I put these on so someone who wants to buy us something wouldn't feel like they had to spend $100 or anything. I know what it's like not having cash and needing to get something for someone.

kevinsbride2B
11-24-2006, 07:21 AM
My Mom knows how upset I've been about Kev's parents and the way they've been treating us so she had said previously that she was going to send them an e-mail saying hello and mentioning how well the wedding planning is going and give them an update. Just thinking that maybe if it came from her i would be better. So she went ahead and sent one to them.
Also, Kev's dad just won an election for city counsellor. So in her e-mail she made sure to congradulate him on his win and all that.
This was sent on November 14th, it's Now November 24th so 10 days later and she hasn't recieved anything back from them. For them it's unisaul as they both live off of their e-mail and blackberry's because they live so far away.
My Mom has yet to recieve anything back from them, and I know they got the info. Apparently somewhere in the e-mail my Mom said things that indicated a response so I don't know what's up. I've already told Kev that if they did get it and read it and just trash it, that's rude. He's ona mission to find out what's up.
Afterall, his mom is coming to town in a couple of weeks to go out with all the girls in the family. She's taking everyone out for lunch and to see "Blue Man Group". I wasn't suprised that I was the only one to not recieve an invite, after all have you seen my previous posts on this matter? lol I just laugh now.

Well, you can always add to the registries if need be.

About the email are you absolutely sure they got it? Maybe something weird happened with the email servers, unlikely but possible, I guess. Anyway, I hope Kevin can get to the bottom of that. I don't know what is wrong with those people or why they don't even try to accept you and your fam.

So it's almost 11:30pm on Sunday night and I'm so overwhemed I can't even sleep. My wedding and anything about it is the last thing on my mind. I have 7 days till I have surgery and within those 7 days I have to have everything ready fro Kevin to move in.
If I had a full week to do nothing but this that wouldn't be a problem but here's my schedule: Monday- All day and night i'll be getting my stuff togetehr, Tuesday- during the day I'll be able to work, but I have a staff meeting Tuesday afternoon and our staff christmas party that night (they had to change it for me so I could be there), Wednesday I'm at work all day and Kev has something that we have to be at for h entire evening, Thursday When I get hoem from work in the evening I'll eb able to get stuff done, Friday I'll have time after work too, and Saturday is Kev's Christmas party and we have his daughter.
I'm just overwhelmed. Not to mention that my mother's nose is all out of joint and thinks I should change my surgery. My dr had to fit me in 6 months early for this. Needless to say we got into a bit of a fight over this. then there I am working my butt off and my Mom doesn't see why I can't put all the Christmas decoratiosn up before my surgery!
All i can say is thank you Kevin!!!!!!!!!!! He's such a rock and a true best friend. He's got me covered for all of it. the man has patience of steel!

So I've just been informed that 2 friedns of the family have started to plan a wedding shower for the summer. Showers are a big thing in my family. When my Mom got married she had 6 of them from friends on our side and 2 from my Dad's side. that's just embarassing really. I don't think I know enough people to have this but anyways back to my story...
There havign the first shower, they'r thinkign late June and it's gonna be a pool party. that makes me feel better that it's not going to be a sticky blah shower where everyone feels uncomfortable and is afraid to smile or laugh for the sake of looking propper.
I'm excited, I think it'll be fun. I just hope that a bunch of people aren't invited that I don't know cause quite frankly I can't afford to invite anyone else to my wedding. I'm already getting the "oh you should invite" and "I forgot about her she has to be there".

Well in my family the bride and the family (unless planning it) have zzero say! So I've already warned people that they can do what they want, but it cannot eb a reflection of my wedding. If my cousins, friends, boyfriends sister's, mail man wants to come, I don't get a say. But they need to understand that I can't sit ehre and alter my guest list. My Mom says that this is a normal thing in my family and a lot of the time there are people invited that aren't coming to the wedding. And there is an understanding. Not to mention that everyone knows that I'm paying for this wedding on my own, and I'm not a millionaire.

kevinsbride2B
11-28-2006, 08:32 AM
So I spend all day and all last night ripping apart my upstairs. My spare bedroom is now finished! I thought that was goign to be the main chore but I was WRONG!!!! My closet is what's going to kill me in the end I swear! I found stuff in there that you don't just not know is in your closet. Some of this included: a TV (how didn't I know I had a TV in there?), about 4 pairs of my boots that I've been looking for, chocolates (in the box and sealed), clothes galore, and a ton of other stuff.
So I would get stuff packed up and pass it to Kev who was in the attic. Everything was goign great we were on a real roll, and one of the boxes opened and a piece of glass came falling out and smashed right in my face. Luckily and I mean LUCKILY I didn't get cut. It bruised but nothing in comparissiont o what could have happend. Plus Kev was obvlivious to any of this happening. It wasn't til he got down that he felt super bad.
It's stil not done, and I'll be spending all day today up there until I have o go to the hospital for my pre surgery stuff then off to my staff meeting and then Christmas party. Will it ever end?

BriansBride07
11-29-2006, 11:35 AM
Oh wow that's horrible I am surprised you didn't get cut. BUt thank god you didn't.. All will work out in the end, just have to go over a few bumps before it happens.

11-30-2006, 07:17 AM
Well I can happily say that all the work for Kev to move in is about 80% complete! I'm taking off a bit of this afternoon from work to come home and get some work done, cause it looks like this evening will be spent at the mall trying to find something to wear to Kev's Christmas galla for work that we have to go to on Saturday night.
We went out to "the bay" last night to go shopping. That's a big department store here. Kev's work get s a big sale night because they're partners and in the past it's been great, but not so much this year. I thought i would have no problem finding something but I was very wrong. Unless I wanted to spend something rediculous like $500 I wasn't gonna find something.
I'm also considering this my big "who-ra" before my surgery so I wanna look nice lol.

Lol NOT THE BAY!!! I refuse to shop there after they screwed me around with our wedding gifts. (IT SHOULD NOT TAKE ONE YEAR TO ORDER CHINA!!!) I find their prices are ridiculous and their clothing cheaply made. Check out Sears, I usually find my Christmas party garb there. Good luck in finding something that is splashy and sexy!!

ha ha ha ha ha ya I'm not a big fan of the bay either! But in the past the sales have been amazing that night for the vendors and there families. Last night although not so much. It was actually just bought by Macy's and you can tell there is something going on.
I'm going to designer depot to find something just so I can use my HBC card. I'm just wanting to look good. I haven't met a lot of people that he works with so this will be a night that I need to look nice. Plus it's my last Christmas as a single woman and I'm gonna makesure that I'm goign out with a bang, or going in with one depending on hwo you look at it lol.

I just got a call which turned into a breath of fresh air!!! My aunts best friend has offered to do all of my flower aranging for free!!! Originally my Mom was going to put them together with me, all but the flower girls and mine, but realistically she'll be doing the cake and she won't have the time.
So My aunts friend who does a lot of arranging and bouquets on the side is willing to do them for me for absolutly nothing!!! Don't get me wrong she'll get something regrdless cause I can't take from others without giving back. So this was good news I must say!

I had my last day at work today before my surgery. My kids were all really upset that I won't be there for a few weeks, and they made em a poster to look at while I'm off recovering.
My supervisor will be dropiing off a lap top to me on Monday to help keep myself occupied but I have to check the internet connection.
It just feels liek this is my last weekend for a while to get everything organized and done. I hate the feeling of not being ready for something. It also couldn't happen at a worse time as Christmas is right around the corner, and there are still things I have to get organized for, for the wedding when it comes to booking and what not.
I'm just praying I can get internet off of that lap top!!!

I ran around in the mall last night after work and finally found a dress!!!! I had been searching for 3 days for somethign to wear to Kev's Christmas party! He works for Castrol oil and they have this massive galla every year. I was getting a little nervous that I wouldn't find something in time but I did plus the accessories. I just don't know where stores get off trying to sell a little black dress for $90? Whatever, I'm ona what I call the "wedding budget" and I'm telling everyone in the stores that too. don't waste your time trying to get me to wear a $200 dress, unless it's under $50 I've outta here! But after all I do have to play the part of the sexy fiancee tonight lol.

So here I am laying in bed after my surgery. Btw, thank you all for your wonderful comments and prayers. Things have been pretty bad and I may be back in the hospital after dinner tonight. Things aren't as good as we had hopped for but I'll figure that out later.
Kev's Christmas party was great!!! I have pics on my PC and i'll get Kev to e-mail them to me and I'll be able to show you all then.
I'm going to get to spend a lot of time doing "wedding stuff" over the next 2 weeks. Hopefully I had start to look at some bouquet ideas. I'm not sure though, i do have a lot of bed time here. All I know is that I won't be doing anything work related.

here are a couple of bouquets that I'm starting to use as inspiration...
I know that I love white and it's gotta be lillies. I'm gonna find some pink to throw into it and add some stuff here and there but here's a couple ideas I've found...

http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k277/blondisma/teardrop_lily.jpg
What do you ladies think? I know some stuff needs to be added and in some cases removed but as a general idea do you think it's ok so far?
I don't want all the green either, or atleast not so much. I want more of a white and pink, also make this more of a stark white not cream or off white.

I had to laugh... The centre pieces at Kev's Christmas party were the same vases that we just bought for the wedding to use as centrepieces. I did learn something though... What not to do with them. They had 10 people at each table, just the vase in the centre with water, cranberries and a floating candle. Maybe at a smaller table this would work, but really not my cup of tea. It just needed something else added to it. I now know that I HAVE TO use a mirror underneith the vase but i was planning to do that anyway.
Plus Kev came up with an awesome idea. We were already goign to have the vase surounded with candles but to put even more light to it, Kev's going to make some water proof LED's to stick at the bottoms under the gems. He loves doing that kind of thing and I think it'll work nicely. It was kind of cool seeing our vases, and even nicer seeing what didn' work with them. Again I took a pic of this but it's on the other computer and i'll have to get Kev to send it to me. It wasn't that it looked bad, just kind of boring, I just want bigger and brighter. Plus it was a Christmas party not a wedding.

It feels so good, Kev has everything all packed and on Saturday he moves his big stuff and moves in fully!
My little closet has been given some testosterone! His side is all full and stuff now. No going back now (not that I ever would anyway).
It was weird doing a Christmas list for my Grandmother yesterday and I had my stuff at the top and halfway down the page what "we need".
Saturday is the big moving day but you can see it all coming in now.
2 more sleeps in "MY" bed lol.

This may be very corney and silly but just the same it made my day!
Today Kev and I recieved our first "as a couple" Christmas card from his aunt in England!
Most of you will think ya, sure whatever! But this is a big deal as it came from his side of the family and as you have read in some of my previous posts, they haven't been overly accepting of me or our upcoming marriage. This was also the aunt in England who sent us an engagment card.
I was very happy as was Kev to recieve his first piece of mail at my address lol.

So ladies it's official, Kevin and Lindsey now live together!!!!!!!! I was beyond excited when I woke up this moring (aside from very sore!!) The guys were a little late arriving at my place, but eventually they got here. When they finally brought that last piece of furniture inside (his dresser) it was official. My grandmother made a big rib dinner and we were going to have a special night just the 2 of us cuddling. I can't really do anything else but cause of my health, but it was just as nice the same.... That was untill.......
Just as we're starting to settle Kev's ex calls and demands that he come to the hospital as Jamie has fallen out of bed and his ex doesn't want to be alone. Under normal circumstances I would understand, but shes not normal! She knew he was moving in and wanted to get her nails in there.
I want more than anything for Jamie to be OK, and that is my top pman riority, but of all the nights for "chicky" to decide she can't handle caring for a kid it's tonight.

No I know she didn't plan this, she just loves these oppertunities. She spent the night in the hospital with Kev and then he drove her home and all that
"lovely" stuff!
Jamie spent 22 hours in hospital all together. And the best part... in the middle of the night she told Kevin that she wanted things back the way they used to be. I know Kev would NEVER EVER to ANYTHING with her, but the thought that she would pull this when I'm at home in bed and she's there with him AHHHHHH get so mad!!!:icon_barbar:

Well there's a little story about Kev and I...
Kev is the type of person who would give his right arm to keep everyone happy, and would really do anything for anyone. And this included catering to his ex. She would walk all over him and expect him to do everything for her including driving her everywhere, money you name it.
Finally I stepped in and told him that he had "parts" and he better start using them. Basically I told him that of he continued to treat her like this and let her walk all over him I was out!!!!!!! I just couldn't watch him do this anymore. So little by little he stood up for himself.
She began to argue with him about taxes as she felt she should get the money refunded because if not she might loose the baby bonus cause Kev had claimed her as he paid everything. This argument took place in the car as Kev was driving her to work. She started to curse and swear and Jamie was in the backseat balling her eyes out. Kev stopped the car and got out to comfort Jamie. She still continued. One thing led to another and Kev asked her to get out, she refused and tried to grab Jamie. Kev wouldn't let her back in the car, and with that she started to punch his car. He called the cops and so did she apparently. The cops arrived at KEv's work where she had him charged with assult.
This whole ordeal is still ongoing. She says she wants money in order to drop the charges, but it's only hearsay. He will be going to trial in March.
This woman is not only an ex, but a lot more. She just doesn't stop, nor does she get it! She doesn't understand why things can't be back to the way things were. She's going to give me a stroke!!!!!!!!

What a nut job she is. She really needs to understand that some men not all men won't even be their for their children after there is a seperation of the parent's he is doing his job to take care of the child and be there whenever Jamie needs him. the way I look at it if she wants KEvin back she should of worked harder when they were together to make it work and she didn't do that so the past is the past and he has moved on and she needs to realize that.
Oh please don't let her stress you out to the point of thinking your going to have a stroke or a heartattack. Or a nervous breakdown. Stay strong and you and Kevin will get through it, She is not worth making yourself sick over it and making you and Kevin have problems.

Hey Lindsay, I am so sorry you are going thru this. It's tough when the x doesn't get over your soon to be. Josh tried to start thier 'relationship' again after we moved intogether. He called crying that her boyfriend left her, and she wanted to 'start over again' w Josh. He said 'hell no'!!

Some mothers use their kids at tools, and weapons and have no idea or care that it is hurting the child.

Good luck w court. I would document everything you can to prove that Kevin isn't the aggressor in this 'relationship' w her.

So I just made our appointment with the the photographer. I'm having to make it later now cause my recovery isn't as great as expected :(
My body is rejecting all that was inserted into my uterus and the pain is unfreakingreal!
But on a happier not, I've made my appointment with her for Jan 16th and when we go we're gonna have some engagment shots done too! So that'll be nice, we've got soem nice pics already but why not more? Plus none of them show off my ring lol. It was my great grandmothers ring from teh 1930's so it's importnant to me, but for some reason I always forget to show it when I tell someone I'm engaged lol.
So another check off the list is done fewwwww!

Sorry that you aren't doing so well. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Awsome about the pics though. We had fun doing our engagement pics. A friend took them, and we had so much fun.

I love the idea of the old ring. I love antiquey things, especially when they are hierlooms.

Thanks!!!! Ya it's important to me, as my great grandmother was also! I'm not feeling good but we're goign to the mall tonight so I can finish my shopping for Christmas. I'll be in a wheel chair cause theres no way I could EVER walk it with how I'm feeling. I'd make it in the door and keel over.

Oh Linsey I hope you get to feeling better! I hate to hear your recovery isen't going as well as you hoped. I'll be thinking and praying for you. But on a lighter note, that is great about your meeting with the photographer. I bet your engagement pics will be lovely! From what I've seen from your other pictures you both take very nice pictures. They'll be beautiful!!!!!

Well I've been locked up in my bedroom with the laptop. There has just been soooooo much happening around here and i've felt so usless laying there.
What I had surgery on was my uterus. They placed in an IUD (inter unterine device) and braces to keep my uterus up and working as it's not doign so well and I wanna have kids so badly I can taste it!
I had cervical cancer and with that came a lot of complications. My poor little body is so tired from all of this in the last few years.
My body is now rejecting all the stuff they put in. Basically I'm having contractions liek one would during labour cause it's my uterus that's trying to get rid of it all.
I'm tough though, I have stuff to do so I can't be cooped up for long!
