Wow, it really is great to see a groom taking an interest! The best thing is to offer help wherever and whenever need be. The things that you should be responsible for, to take the burden off of your fiance, are things like transportation, your groomsmen tuxedos, the gift for your fiance on the wedding day, and if you guys are purchasing liquor yourselves for the reception you should be in charge of getting it. Also, if you are reserving rooms at a hotel for out of town guests, you could be in charge of that. They may seem like minor things, but it will REALLY help your significant other!

Also, ask about details. Even if it is up to the bride, it makes us feel better when you take an interest.
Welcome!

so awesome to see how involved you want to be in your wedding!!!! Before my FH and i got engaged people love to tell me about how uninvolved their FH were and that kind of scared me. I was really really lucky and my dear sweetie was actually the most creative out of us both and got a lot done for the wedding.
Ask questions, be there when she needs to cry and run interference with bridesmaids, MOH, groomsmen and family. that will mean soooo much to her. i know it did for me.
look stuff up on the internet, see if you FW has an idea for something and then give postiive feedback and even some input, i'm sure she will appreciate it.
all the best to you. and if you are looking for wedding supplies don't always rely on what's around you the internet is a life saver sometimes!
all the best to you and your lucky wife!

Yep! If you can be an idea man, you'll be much appriciated. Just look around, see what kinds of things she likes, and see if you can take them a step further. Like, what are your colors? Do you know wht kinds of flowers she wants to use? What's your menu?
Here's my rough draft of my wedding plans:

I agree. Nice to see groomes wanting to understand all the hoopla. If this isn't a hint it should be. We may need a board for groomes. They may want to gripe about tux or something. Or run their ideas by others before being chopped down by fiance.
