PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

I purchased a RED wedding dress and it has caused an uproar among my future in-laws. I am getting married in a civil ceremony in the morning and it is a very low key ceremony. I loved the color of this dress when I saw it on the rack and it looks beautiful on me so is it really that horrible that I have not gotten the traditional white wedding gown?? Please help!!!!

My dress wasn't completely red but it did have red prominently throughout it, and everyone loved it! Your inlaws will just have to deal with the fact that you have purchased a dress that you wanted...my only question is why you even told them about it??!! This is your day and you will have it any which way you want!!! Go for it, wear the dress you fell in love with and make you feel like a princess! This is your day!! I am sure that once your future inlaws see you in your dress and see how beautiful you look they will have nothing further to say and if they do, who cares! You are marrying their son, not them! Besides, the traditional wedding gown in white is becoming less and less traditional. All I can say is do what you want, and be happy and wear the dress YOU want!!

Thank you very much for your words of advice. They only knew about it because my future sister-in-law is a bridesmaid and was with me for a fitting!! I didn't really care what anybody thought until it seemed to be such an issue with everyone, but you words have restored my faith in my choice!! And for the record, my fiance does not know what it looks like!
