Everything is going wrong

Almost everyone in my family is against the wedding except my sisters. Now one of my sisters grand mothers died (on her fathers side) and the funeral is the day of my wedding. This is also the sister that has my dress and I have know way to get it. My other sister and my friend aren't going to be able to make it b/c she was their ride. So no one on my side can make it. At all. My ring was pre ordered and I still have not gotten it (the wedding is on friday). So now I have no one that's going to be there for me, no dress, no ring, and no way to reschedual without paying for pretty mush every thing 2 times. I'm so stressed out right now. I don't know what to do.

Can you take a quick trip to get your stuff before Friday....and maybe pick up your friend and sister and let them stay with you!!!

I would find a way to get my stuff. Have your FH drive you, have your sister get it to you before the funeral, rent a car or ask a friend to take you. I hope everything is able to work out.

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear about this stress so close to the wedding. I think the other ladies gave you excellent advice. If you have a car, or access to a car, you should definitely try to get your things before the wedding. I will cross my fingers for you that everything works out in time. Well things are starting to get better. Brits boyfriend are dropping her and my friend off and I'm calling chrissy (my other sister) to see if she can dropp of the dress at Brits. House. Now the only other probs are. My big sis isn't gonna be there which sucks b/c she was maid of honor (brits. taking her place) and I still have not recieved my ring. We might be going to walmart to get a ring then when the real one comes we'll take that one back. So things are starting to get a little better. But I'm still a little stressed out. :sweatdrop:

Try calling the jeweler and see what's going on with your ring. I am so glad you are getting your dress and stuff! I am so sorry about your big sis not being there. I truly hope you have a wonderful wedding and I hope you come back and show us some pics!

I tried getting a hold of the jeweler. She won't get back to me. I tried many times.

Just think to yourself that things can only get better!!!! You always have a bunch of ladies on the net who are there for you in spirit on your big day. Keep your chin up it'll all be over soon and you'll realize regardless what a wonderful day it was!

Well I got a hold of the jewler and she said the ring must have got lost in the mail, I asked for the tracking # and she said she'll have to get back to me and she'll send me another ring. So I had to get another ring from walmart just to use during the wedding.
My sister come to find out just made up the story about her grandmother to try and get me to cancel the wedding b/c her fiance took her ring back and broke up with her and when they got back together he didn't give the ring back so they're not getting married so she doesn't want me to.
She wouldn't give me my dress so I went out today and got another one. It's not really a wedding dress but it's still pretty.
Also, we were going out to eat at a nice resuarant (reserved a room) and they said that we couldn't decorate and if we bring the cake we have to pay $1.50 per slice (insurence reasons), but they changed there minds tonight thankfully.
Another thing my other sisters boyfriend got in a car accident and messed up his car. So her and my friend lost their ride, but now we're going to go pick them up.
Things are starting to look better I let y'all know how it goes tomorrow.

OMG! I cannot imagine anyone making up a funeral and then refusing to give a bride her dress! I would have gone over there and beat on the door until she gave me my dress! What is wrong with some people?

yea he's ok we just got back a little while ago from picking up brit. and josh. I was so happy to see them. I'm so excited I can't even go to sleep it's almost 4 and I have to be up at 7. It's like all those things that went and are going wrong don't even matter now. I'm just so happy to be marrying him today. Well I have to go I have to get some sleep. If I can. Thanks for the support I'll be showing pics. soon and leting everone know how it all went.

Your sister really did that!! What a b**ch!! Sorry but that is really awful making up something like that then not giving you your dress!! I wouldn't just beat on her door if you know what i mean! Just because shes jealous, I really hope your days going well!! You seem very resourceful and collected!

I can not believe what you have been going through the last few days, and am soooo sorry to hear about this. I hope that even with all of that, you had a wonderful, beautiful wedding day today, and that you are thrilled to have married your man! COngratulations on your marriage!

Everything went pretty good. The only thing that went wrong was I woke up to my brother in law bleeding b/c his lizard bit him. We thought we were going to have to take him to the hosbital but we didn't have to. Every thing else was great. I was so excited that all those others problems that happened didn't even matter. I'm just glad I got to marry the man that I love.:heart:
