Hi Everyone! Does anybody have an idea of the "proper" etiquette for seating arrangements? who sits where? we have a head table with the bridal party, all of them except the little ones and now it's just finding where family sits.
if anyone could pass on some advice it would be sooooo appreciated!!!! I have to sit down with my mum and MIL and FH this weekend and figure this out and would like to be armed with knowledge!
Thanks!!!!!

I, personally am not using a seating arrangement, since the guest list is so small. However, one big thing to keep in mind, is smokers. Make sure to keep that in mind when doing the arrangement. Good Luck!!!

i have 100 ish people at the supper...i just want to have an idea of who sits where, mainly just worried about the parents of the bride and groom and our respective families. my main issue is that we have some people who have food allergies and food substitutions are being made and i watned to let the hotel we are having the reception in know where these people would be located.

here is some information in case anyone is wondering what proper "etiquette" is for seating arranagements at dinner...
"Traditional seating arrangement calls for parents of the bride and groom being seated together at a table of honor which is close to the top or head table. You can also have two "parent's tables", one for the brides parents and one for the groom's. The wedding officiant is seated at the parents table along with grandparents. If there is room you can include other close relatives at the parent's tables. Any remaining family should be seated nearest the top or head table with other relatives and friends sitting further away"
Not exactly sure where this information came from, but it was passed on to me....hope this helps anyone out who had this question as well[/quote]
