Me and my 3 girls are spending the night in a hotel the night before the wedding, a little girls-only sleepover. we already have the room booked, we know we are going to get pizza and munchies and watch a few movies and practice makeup for the next day. I want to make a cd for each of them of some fun songs to remember the wedding and to thank them for being my friends and being in the wedding, as well as make a cd for us to listen to in the morning. any ideas? I know I are putting "Going to the chapel" on it, and the song that Adam Sandler sang at the end of "The Wedding Singer"... TIA!

You have chosen two great wedding songs! I will try and think about what other songs you can add with the same feel as those.
When is your wedding?

How about White Wedding. I love that song... It's a fun song. That's a good idea to make a cd. I'm doing the same thing, I mean, the sleep over part. I'm kicking my fiance and my dad out of the house for the night, with the baby. And us girls are going to have a blast.

Selene: I don't really think of this as a "Wedding" song but "I'll Be There" is great and my favorite "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" is the best for anything! Good luck and I think it's a great "Girl Get-together" that you're doing. Most To-be brides are concentrating on just themselves...this will definately pay off for you in the end! The girls will really appreciate it more than you can imagine! Don't forget the nail polish, wine glasses & sparkling cider! I remember when my brother (who I always thought was a dire "male chauvenist") married his present wife. She had 2 daughters and at the ceremony when he placed the ring on his bride's finger he turned and took 2 blackhills gold rings out of his pocket and placed one of each of the girl's finger, too. He said this was to assure them that he was marrying them all as a family. Yea, I cried like a baby! My brother? I couldn't believe it.
But enjoy your time with your girls and God Bless!

How about a couple of songs for them, like "You're My Best Friend" by Queen, "That's What Friends Are For," by Dionne Warwick "With a Little Help From My Friends" by The Beatles?
