:D I haven't seen my half sister in like 10 years, we just recently (in the last year or so) have gotten eachothers numbers and have started talking. She lives in BC the other side of the country from me.
Sadly she suffers from extreme MS and isn't always able to get out of bed to check her e-mail or she's in too much pain to talk on the phone. I haven't talked to her in about a month and I was worried that maybe I had lost contact with her again.
Tonight the phone rang and it was her. She was feeling a lot better and wanted to chat.
She's wanting to come to my wedding. This will eb the first time I have seen her in about 10 years and she wants to fly down to see her little sister walk down the aisle.
It fully made my night as I was hopign she would come, but wasn't sure if she would want to with it being such a formal occasion.
Just wanted to share my excitment with you all. I'm in tears of happiness!

That is awesome news, I am really excited for you. I know how important it is to have your family at your wedding, and there were some times when I thought that maybe my siblings were not gonna make it from Colorado to my wedding. Congrats!!!!!

We have been in contact, although we haven't been able to talk so much lately as she has been bed ridden due to her MS really getting bad. The last time I spoke with her I told her that maybe she should re think coming acros the country for the wedding. I don't want her hurting and I think her health is more important than a stupid wedding. But she didn't want any of that and she said it didn't matter hwo she was she would be here. I will call her later on tonight and see how she is.
Thank you all for your thoughts, it's really special to me!

Great news! Wow the love of two sisters is amazing isn't it. I am so excited for you. I hope the trip doesn't totally drain her and she does enjoy herself. Who knows maybe that is what she will need just for a moment of no pain. B/C she will be filled with excitement. I know a women who has slaraderma (sp) Where all her skin and organs will eventally turn to a feeling of stone and leather. She is bed ridden most of the time and in pain. Every time I call her you can hear the happyness in her voice. She tells me I have made her day. I also don't call her alot b/c the diesease is starting to attack her vocal cords. And she gets tired out easily just from talking. OOPs sorry total hijack there lol. anyway I hope you continue to stay in contact with your sister. best wishes to you.
